Chapter 4 - PART 4 : Time can't do with humanity power

A night full of surprises and extraordinary events. The other kingdoms were engaged in various forms of communication regarding previous incidents, noticing a chain embedded in the moon, along with the thunderous battle between Elevanour and Zelga.

Yet, none of this made the three talented youths from their respective kingdoms aware of a truly powerful demon.

"Who is this troublesome creature? I will kiss its forehead and throw it into hell today." A tall young man with bright yellow hair, sharp eyes with dark white irises, wearing a deep red cloak—beneath which he wore silver armor crafted from rare mineral dust.

He walked down a long, dark corridor.

Elsewhere, a mysterious young man held millions of chains embedded in the moon, a legacy of the hero Elevanour. He stared at them with a cold gaze, exhaling frost that froze parts of the chains. His frustration peaked upon learning that his friend, Elevanour, had been defeated so quickly.

Even the darkness of the night seemed to cloak him in his rage.

A wave of fear swept through the Sun Kingdom; citizens were evacuated into the royal palace. Amid the crowd, a mother and child, who had been separated earlier, were torn apart once more.

"MY CHILD!! HELP HIM!!" the mother cried, reaching out, only to be pushed back by the massive crowd. Tears streamed down her face as she watched her child stare blankly at her.

Zelga had already arrived at the towering gates of the Sun Kingdom. His imposing frame moved forward with strength.

He then drew the three angelic arms from his back, releasing an aura that unsettled all living souls, filling them with unease. Without hesitation, he consumed the three arms.

Zelga paused, his empty gaze reflecting disgust as he devoured the angelic limbs, as if staring into his own past.

"I will hate them forever."

He chewed and swallowed everything quickly, his body emitting dark particles, further satisfying him.

"Rise, my brothers from eternal hell, no need to be pampered."

Then, four stars appeared in the sky, shining brightly. They all descended swiftly, falling like wounded stars, until finally one approached Zelga.

"Long time no see, Zelga," greeted the mysterious figure. A master of darkness and deceit, a highly skilled time manipulator. He wore a white robe and silk trousers, with dark green hair, human-like eyes, and a cursed black tattoo stretching from his right arm to his back. This was Chronos—the rebellious god of time.

Beside him stood a tall, muscular figure in a white cloak, radiating an aura of a being who enjoyed overpowering the strongest. This was Aldebaran—orange hair, large yellow eyes, with numerous scars across the right side of his face.

Zelga approached, his eyes glowing darkly.

"WHERE ARE THE TWO OF THEM, CHRONOS?! I WILL NOT TOLERATE MY PLAN FAILING AGAIN!"

Zelga was frustrated, clearly displeased that two of his members left without considering why they were summoned.

Chronos tried to calm him. "They were only trying to help you, Zelga. Calm yourself." His tone was gentle, yet manipulative, attempting to convince Zelga about the departure of the other two.

Zelga, already enraged, ignored Chronos' words and commanded them to follow him—

SUDDENLY… Chronos froze, his gaze locking onto a dark building. He sensed an abnormal power trapping them.

"Be silent." He turned his body.

"WHOOOMM—KRHHH—TIK!"

Suddenly, all life stopped, subdued by time itself, deemed merely an illusion.

Chronos stepped toward the building, the wind blowing unusually as he stared sharply at it.

His calm heartbeat was suddenly shocked when he heard the soft, delicate sound of a flute filling the halted time.

"Fwooooohh.. fiiuuuu... fiuuu~"

The sound resonated, bending space and time. It was as if truth itself fought endlessly against destruction, hiding for something greater.

Chronos' eyes widened—it was impossible for anyone to perform such a feat in the midst of his god-level time power.

He was astonished.

"Powerful, aren't they? Haha." With agility, he leapt toward the building, grinning slyly as he closed in on the source of the sound.

Suddenly, his body froze in midair. Blood poured from every corner of his face—tssshhhhh… drip… drip… Blood trickled from his ears, nose, eyes, and mouth in an unending stream.

"Pffftt... tchhh!"

"Time cannot defeat the promised intellect of man."

Contrary to his expectations, his entire body was wounded, blood gushing uncontrollably, his eyes bulging as he collapsed to his knees, struggling to restrain the rebellion within.

Chronos muttered with a smile, unable to believe such a powerful attack could defy his ultimate time stop.

"Well done. THEY ARE IMPRESSIVE!!!"

Soon, time resumed

Aldebaran, unaware, also had blood flowing across his face. His eyes widened. "What?! Gherrrhhh…" He bowed, enduring the same pain as Chronos, blood relentlessly streaming.

Zelga, already aware, was no ordinary being. He, too, bled but remained composed, directly turning his gaze toward the source. His sharp, cold eyes twisted reality within the dark building with a motion of his hand, as if manipulating dimensions.

"WHUUUMMPPP!!!"

He was tricked; the flute was thrown in front of him, which he slowly retrieved while slightly bowing. As he reached for it, a young man appeared—long hair tied in a traditional Chinese style.

He wore a white Hanfu robe trimmed with gold, characteristic of a young Chinese martial artist; the fabric flowed with each movement, and a peace-dragon symbol adorned the back.

The young man appeared swiftly, raising his leg high and delivering a powerful strike toward Zelga's head.

"SWISHHH…"

However, "Yo, cut it out." Chronos intervened, grasping absolute control over time. Everything froze.

Yet, the young man vanished from sight, chuckling as the flute played again from different directions.

"Fwooohhh… fiiiing…"

Chronos could hardly believe it, as if celebrating his own near-death. Surveying the area with his still-injured body, he quickly restarted time, avoiding further damage.

Zelga, infuriated at their interference, called Aldebaran to follow with a terrifying gaze.

"Aldebaran, you understand, right?" He vanished instantly.

Aldebaran understood; his foot pressed with great force, the air shattered, the ground cracked as he leapt far.

Chronos realized Zelga was enraged. He did not pursue Aldebaran but sensed the resonating sound waves from the past, and started sprinting rapidly toward the source.

Meanwhile, the other two mysterious beings descending from the sky, one landed in Babylon. A witness saw a light like a meteor heading for their kingdom.

Panicking, the man quickly calmed himself and ran to the city center, seeking a building with a large bell to warn the citizens.

In the silent night, oblivious to the ongoing battle, he reached the building, ascending each step with effort, legs weary, but spirit undeterred.

The falling star grew brighter, nearing the soul asleep below. As he reached the top, drenched in sweat, he saw a young man sitting at the edge. Puzzled, he approached.

"EH?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? Why haven't you rung the bell?!" He panicked, his gentle heart unable to blame anyone.

Yet, the closer he got, the more familiar the figure appeared. Yellow hair emerged, the red cloak and silver armor—the very features described by the witness—the young man's presence shocking him.

"Eh, young master. What are you doing here?" He froze, awestruck by one of the strongest youths.

The young man replied,

"Haven't you seen the meteor approaching? Isn't it beautiful? Hahaha." He remained seated at the edge, the wind emphasizing his heroic presence.

The man panicked further as the meteor neared the settlement.

"You—"

The young man interrupted, standing tall in his armor, a commanding presence.

"Fear not, I am Arvengal. The gentle hero." His valor made the man momentarily forget the meteor.

Then, Arvengal leapt swiftly and high toward the meteor, moving with a technique almost identical to Elevanour's, without leaving any trace or causing damage.

... End...
