"He's been at Grandpa Quinn's for a few days now; it's time for him to come back," Melody Thorne said tactfully.
Hearing this, Jared Quinn's eyebrows relaxed a bit. "Grandpa wants his company, let him stay there for a few more days."
"No way!" Melody responded intensely.
"Hmm?" Jared moved a little closer to her,
while the butler beside her kept signaling with his eyes, but she couldn't hold it in anymore. "Timmy clearly wants to come back, why won't you let him? Clearly, it was you who sent him there."
"His matters are not your concern." A hint of coldness appeared on Jared's sharp features as he stood up. "Didn't you say we were going to eat? So let's eat."
"Ah, yes, yes, Madam, let's have dinner first," the butler quickly echoed.
"No, you have to promise me that Timmy will come back," Melody blocked him with an arm.
Jared lowered his eyes to look at the small woman who was trying to block him, her head barely reaching his shoulder. "And if I don't agree?"
