"Be careful not to let your sister find out or she'll beat you up, and I won't help."
"How could that happen? I'm doing it for my sister's good, she wouldn't hit me. Brother, I realize you're getting quite fond of teasing me, and now I'm starting to enjoy teasing others too."
Upon hearing this, Mo Jingchun's mouth twitched as he glared fiercely at the innocent-looking Candy.
"Don't throw the blame on me; I'm not taking the fall for this."
"Let's go home. I saw the group notification; you have a lot of homework today, so hurry up and get it done."
The moment 'homework' was mentioned, Candy deflated like a balloon, losing all vigor.
"Brother, can I write it tomorrow? We're not going out to play anyway."
"What must be done today must be completed today."
Candy reluctantly followed her brother, carrying her backpack, and said, "But this homework clearly amounts to two days' worth for the weekend. If I write it tomorrow, it still counts as getting today's work done, right?"
