Half an hour later, Aunt came back from outside.
"Old Lynch? Old Lynch! Come help me with these things."
After shouting several times, there was no response from the living room. Aunt put down the things casually and walked into the living room with large strides.
In the living room, Uncle was sitting upright on the sofa, motionless like a statue.
Aunt nudged his shoulder, "Didn't you hear me shouting? I was so loud."
"What?" Uncle was stunned.
"..." Seeing his silly look, it didn't seem like he was pretending. Aunt gave him a once-over, finding it a bit strange.
"What's wrong? Why are you daydreaming?"
Hearing this, Uncle snapped back to reality and quickly grabbed his wife's hand, pulling her to sit down, "Xixi just came back."
"Really?" Aunt glanced around, "Where is she? Resting in the room?"
"I happened to bring back some fruit, including cherries she loves. I'll go wash some for her."
"Wait, wait, wait." Uncle swiftly pulled Aunt back, "She went out with Ian."
