Silas Cheney was taken aback, "You know about this?"
Thea Lynch didn't explain, she just said, "The shares in his hands are now in mine, so you can rest assured."
Silas: "..."
Coincidentally, they hit a red light, and the car stopped steadily.
Silas turned his head and looked at Thea, "What's going on? You went to find Sean Bell?"
"No." Although she had a good relationship with them, Thea had her limits and didn't ask for anything from them. "He gave them to me himself. Said it's a wedding gift."
Hearing this, Silas was even more bewildered.
"Don't tell me all the effort he put in to acquire those things was just to give them to you?"
"I don't know." Thea feigned ignorance.
This was something she couldn't say outright, or it would seem hard to clarify.
She's not single anymore.
"That guy..." Silas paused, met Thea's gaze, and silently swallowed the rest of his words.
Indeed, there are things better left unsaid now.
