"You're not going to the bar, and you won't hit the barbecue joints, so where are we supposed to go to drink? You mean drink at home??" Liam Shaw pouted in disbelief.
What he didn't expect was, after hearing this suggestion, Ethan Hayes actually nodded lightly and said, "Sure."
Sure??
What!?
Liam Shaw looked at Ethan Hayes, completely baffled. Drinking at home, seriously?? Dude, don't you just have cola at your house??
Ethan pretended not to see the shock in Liam's eyes and said unhurriedly, "Let's just drink at home."
"Hold on, dude, don't you only have cola at your place? Besides, even if you do have alcohol, we can't just drink without food, right?? Are you gonna whip up a plate of peanuts for us to snack on??"
"I can order takeout."
Ethan looked directly at Liam, his tone leaving no room for doubt.
Liam: "..."
Alright, dude, you win. You want takeout, then we'll get takeout.
Forty minutes later.
