"Oh wow, 'severing all ties, never to meet again,' Ethan, have you been reading too many martial arts novels?" Liam Shaw raised an eyebrow at Ethan Hayes, unable to resist throwing some sharp sarcasm his way.
Ethan squinted slightly, a dangerous look in his eyes as he stared at Liam.
"Ahem, well, I'll give Tanya a call now and ask her to find out why Vivian is actually mad." Spotting the danger signs, Liam awkwardly coughed a couple of times, then pretended to casually pick up the phone and dial Tanya Taylor's number.
After two rings, Tanya's soft and lovely voice came through the receiver, "Hello??"
"Hey, Tanya, it's Liam." Liam's voice immediately became more reserved, as he sat up straight, somewhat nervously addressing the phone.
Tanya listened to the voice over the phone, turned to glance at Vivian, who was standing beside her puffed up like an angry pufferfish, blinked, and walked to the side, lowering her voice to say, "Liam, what's up??"
