Ethan Hayes listened to the young policeman's words, pondered for a moment, then cautiously asked, "So, the best way is still to go through legal procedures?."
"Yes!" The young policeman adjusted his glasses on the bridge of his nose and nodded towards Ethan Hayes, saying, "Moreover, you are just guarantors, not borrowers. Find a good lawyer, think of a way, and you might not have to bear so much debt. Of course, the best way is still to find the borrower."
"Okay." Ethan Hayes responded seriously, and looked gratefully at the young policeman saying, "Thank you so much."
"You're welcome." After explaining, the young policeman returned to stand beside the slightly older policeman.
The slightly older policeman dusted off his uniform, nodded towards Vivian York's parents, and said, "Since there's nothing else, we'll head back now. If those debt collectors come again tomorrow, you can report it to the police."
