After the last exam on the last day of the university admissions process, Ethan Hayes walked out of the exam room.
The sky outside was crystal clear, the sunlight dazzlingly shining down on the earth, yet his heart felt incredibly light.
A whole year of relentless effort in senior year, the days filled with endless practice problems, were left behind the moment he stepped out of the exam room.

Just as Ethan exhaled deeply and prepared to head towards the school gate, a familiar voice called out from behind him.
Ethan turned to look and saw Liam Shaw holding a black pencil case, gleefully running towards him.
"Ethan! How did the exam go?" Liam ran up to Ethan, put an arm around his shoulder, and asked with a cheeky grin.
