At four in the morning, Leo Lancaster had already arrived at the dressing room on time to get styled.
Next to him, Rose Adler was reciting the schedule and precautions for the shoot. Life, just like many times before, was dull and unoriginal.
"Leo, did you hear what I just said?" Rose Adler put down her phone. Her demeanor was stern, and when she wasn't smiling, she always gave the impression of being difficult to approach.
Leo snapped back to reality and gave a faint smile: "I heard it all."
The murmurs of advice continued, while Leo, touching the ring in his hand, felt his mind gradually drift away.
Just last week, he attended Nora's first birthday party. He had to admit she was an incredibly beautiful child, with big round eyes and jet-black hair; her features reflected Maya Monroe's contours. However, he didn't stay long, leaving only some words of blessing before departing.
