After Maya Monroe got in the car, she took off her coat. Finding it cumbersome, she casually tossed it onto Ian Rowe sitting next to her.
"Honey, why did you suddenly come to pick me up?"
Ian Rowe withdrew his gaze from the window and replied nonchalantly.
"It was on the way."
"Do you still have work tonight?"
"Yeah."
Vincent Summers maneuvered the steering wheel and upon hearing this, gave a sarcastic smile, "There's no better way to say it's on the way."
Ian Rowe turned his head to look at Maya Monroe. His handsome face was highlighted by the dark night outside the window. His eyes were like deep wells, unfathomable, and he asked seemingly inadvertently, "Have you and Leo Lancaster been in touch all this time?"
In Maya Monroe's impression, this wasn't Ian Rowe's first time mentioning Leo Lancaster.
Why? Why does he care so much about her and Leo Lancaster? There wasn't any mention of this in the storyline!
