Ethan Grant was probably so infuriated by Maya Monroe that he couldn't get more than a word out for a while.
"What do you mean 'you'? If you keep babbling, I'll kick you out of the crew!"
Anyone aware of Maya Monroe's heroic deeds wouldn't think she was joking.
Suddenly, Ethan Grant's assistant ran to his side: "Ethan, why did you come here alone? The assistant director has some arrangements for you, hurry over and check it out!"
The assistant leaned closer to Ethan Grant and whispered in his ear: "Maya Monroe isn't someone you want to mess with. Let's just leave it at that."
Ethan Grant's eyes darted around, and facing Maya Monroe's still coldly smiling face, he suddenly deflated like a punctured balloon.
His impression of Maya Monroe deepened in that moment. She was unlike any other entertainer he had encountered; she was always making a fuss, and when she did, she was crazier than anyone else.
The heated urge to play the hero cooled off a bit.
