After defeating Bang and Bomb, Yami left City Z with Goddess Artemis.
He had no intention of meeting Saitama, at least not yet. There was no need for it right now.
Yami wasn't confident he could defeat Saitama, so he decided to wait until he had taken down everyone else first.
So far, three out of the more than ten S-Class heroes had been defeated, and only the rest remained.
Now, it was time to find the next target!
Like Bang, Atomic Samurai also ran a dojo. Compared to other S-Class heroes who wandered from place to place, Atomic Samurai was relatively easy to locate.
"Besides, the Shinomiya Consortium could help with the search. I doubt they would refuse," Yami thought.
With such a strong connection, it would be foolish not to take advantage of it. After all, this world was vast, and despite his strength, Yami still didn't have the ability to instantly locate anyone he wanted.
Finding the remaining targets would take significant time and effort. However, with the help of the Shinomiya Consortium, it would be far easier.
With this in mind, Yami contacted them using the details left by Gan'an as he made his way to Atomic Samurai's dojo.
As expected, the consortium agreed without hesitation. As long as Kaguya and Hayasaka were still away studying, the Shinomiya Consortium would fulfill any request from Yami.
No matter how difficult the task, they would go to great lengths to satisfy him.
Besides, tracking down the remaining S-Class heroes was a trivial task for such a powerful consortium. It required minimal effort.
Establishing ties with someone as powerful as Yami was a no-brainer. Why pass up the opportunity?
After securing Yami's agreement, Gan'an was delighted, his mood lifting significantly.
In fact, he wasn't content with just this small task. If possible, Gan'an wanted to fully win Yami over and bind him to the Shinomiya Consortium, ensuring a close relationship for as long as possible.
Perhaps even one that would last generations.
Ideally, he hoped Yami would become part of their "Family." That would be the perfect outcome.
But such things required careful planning.
Yami, however, had no idea what the crafty old man was scheming. Even if he did, he would probably just laugh scornfully, showing nothing but disdain.
Flattery and bribes had no effect on Yami.
If anything, he'd take the sweet reward and destroy the rest.
But none of this mattered to Yami at the moment.
By now, he and Goddess Artemis had already moved on to other cities.
Yami had spent most of his time in the One Punch Man world either traveling or fighting, so having some time to rest was a rare luxury that he cherished.
The same was true for Goddess Artemis.
Although Yami's battles were thrilling, watching too many could lead to visual fatigue. Especially when the outcome was always obvious. It was impressive enough that she had managed to endure it for this long.
Now, she was finally able to enjoy the sights of the various cities they visited.
Yami, aware of this, deliberately slowed their pace so they could both relax.
In any case, no matter how long he spent in the One Punch Man world, only an hour would pass in other worlds thanks to the manipulation of time.
There was no rush. Nothing would change while they were away.
So, a powerful warrior and a goddess wandered the bustling commercial streets of the city, pretending to be ordinary people.
It was a lively and exciting place, far more advanced than Orario.
Compared to this, Orario seemed almost primitive, which only made Goddess Artemis more excited. She eagerly explored the shops, showing signs of becoming more like Hestia with every passing moment.
The youthful and carefree energy in her brought a smile to Yami's face.
"Yami, come and look at this!"
Yami, lost in thought, was startled by Artemis's call.
She was standing not far away, holding up a gorgeous dress and motioning toward him.
The smile on Yami's face grew even brighter.
"Does it look good?" Artemis asked again.
Her cheeks flushed, and there was a hopeful glint in her eyes. Her thoughts were written all over her face.
Yami wasn't about to dampen her excitement.
"Of course, it looks good," Yami replied with a warm smile. "But the colors are a bit too bold. I think something simpler suits you better, like white or light blue—something that aligns more with your style, Artemis."
His sincere words made Artemis think for a moment, and after a while, she nodded in agreement.
"I think you're right. I felt the dress was a bit too flashy as well. I wanted to try something new, but since you said that, I won't buy it."
"To be honest, I've always preferred white and blue. It just feels strange to wear anything else," she added with a gentle smile, as she placed the dress back on the rack.
"But really, Artemis," Yami continued, "If you like it, then go ahead and get it. To me, you look beautiful no matter what you wear."
His words were genuine, coming from the heart, and they moved Artemis. She gazed at him with affection, her eyes full of warmth.
But this peaceful moment between them didn't last long—it was suddenly interrupted.
