Although she didn't say anything, the butler instinctively pushed open the door and walked in.
As expected, the butler was holding a bowl of soup, walking towards her.
"Madam, the soup is ready, please drink it while it's hot." The butler came to the couch and placed the soup on the coffee table.
Summer Shawcross glanced down at the bowl of soup on the coffee table, sighed softly, and then said to the butler.
"Leave it here, I'll drink it once it's cooled a bit."
"Alright, just don't let it cool too much, or it won't be good for your stomach when you drink it." The butler nodded and added cautiously, before turning and leaving the bedroom.
As soon as the butler left, Summer was overwhelmed by the smell of the stew, causing her stomach to churn again...
"Ugh..." Summer suddenly leaned over beside the couch, stuck her head towards the trash can, and started retching.
She retched for a while but nothing came out.
Yet her stomach still felt very uncomfortable.
