The sudden noise startled Summer Shawcross, who was almost asleep. She got up from the sofa and glanced in the direction of the door.
"Come in."
As soon as she finished speaking, the door was pushed open from the outside, and Katherine Irving walked in, looking anxious.
"Ma'am, something's wrong, something's wrong!" Katherine said anxiously.
"What happened?" Seeing Katherine's expression, Summer paused, wondering what urgent matter had occurred.
"It's Sean Morgan. The boss wants to fire him. What should we do..." Katherine looked at Summer helplessly, so anxious she was about to cry.
"Noah Drexler wants to fire Sean Morgan?"
Katherine's words left Summer in shock. She couldn't believe it and questioned her, thinking she must have misheard.
How could Noah Drexler possibly fire Sean Morgan...
