When Summer Shawcross came out of the hotel, it was already getting dark outside.
Sean Morgan and the others had taken Yvonne Duval to the police station to give a statement. Before leaving, they gave both her and Wendy Linden a room card for a five-star hotel in Lyra.
It was too late today, so they had to stay in Lyra for the night before heading back.
However, since it was still early, Summer Shawcross decided to stroll around.
Just as she was about to take a walk in the city square, Wendy Linden suddenly ran over to block her path, looking at her with admiration and pleading.
"Summer Shawcross, you're so amazing. Can you take me as your apprentice?"
"What?" Summer Shawcross was momentarily stunned, not catching her meaning right away.
"I want to learn fortune telling too," Wendy Linden said with utmost determination and sincerity.
"Cough..." Summer Shawcross choked on her own breath, unable to help but cough.
