Chapter 2 - S1 Game selection

Joseph:are you ok? Jamie: yeah I'm fine. Just a Little stressed out after what just happened. Marry:I know how you feel. We're all stress out and not use to this. Joseph:see? He pats his shoulder Joseph: don't worry buddy we'll get though this together trust me. He smiles cheering him up Jamie:thank you Joseph I really mean it. Joseph:so what's the plan? Jamie: we're going to find Maverick. But of course it won't be easy. There's lower rank bosses and upper rank bosses. So if we're going after Maverick we have to go though the bosses first. But first we'll have to find a place to sleep. They build a camp in the forest and sleep in their camps marry:hey Joseph. Are you awake? Joseph:yes? What is it? Marry: I'm sorry... for making both you and Jamie Play with me. None of this would have happened if I never asked you guys to join me. I promise I'll repay you. Josephine:no no. Marry don't blame yourself. I won't let you. Marry: but it is. Joseph: it's fine. We're going to be free and when we do we're all gonna put this all behind us. She smiles then blushes marry: and um about what you said before we ended up here. What was it you were going ask me? Joseph:oh that...um yeah that's uh.. nevermind. It wouldn't be right to ask at a bad time like this. Maybe after when the game is over? Then I'll tell you everything. Can you wait just a bit longer? Until we're all free? She nods marry:of course. I would wait for thousand years waiting to hear what you need to say. He sighs in relief then Jaime overhears their conversation Jamie:(I have to get them out of here... But what about me? Back then I was filled with boredom. Besides my friends, I was always bored with life. School, home, just everything bores me. Then after I played this game it made me feel free. Like I felt more alive than I did in real life. And I wish everyone didn't have to suffer just because I wanted to stay in the game, because if it was up to me I would free everyone except me. So I can be happy here. But it's too selfish of me to wish like that.) he smiles Jamie: but I promise that I'll clear the game guys you'll see. He falls asleep then a few weeks later janies goes into constant training with his sword killing monsters getting stronger leveling up as Joseph wears a buffed tall armor covering his entire body as he fights the monsters with him as Marry uses her wand to cast spells then a few more days later Jamie: congratulations guys. We leveled up higher than we have before. If we keep this up we can definitely defeat a lower rank boss by ourselves. He gets a notification on his game menu saying join the game selection Jamie:huh? (Game selection? What's that?) He clicks it as it shows him more details about this Joseph: what's wrong bro? Jamie: let's move out. They follow him marry: hey uh where are we going? Jamie: there's a place called the game selection if we go there we'll encounter a bunch of monsters this is our opportunity to level up and get stronger. Isn't this existing? Joseph:I guess. Jamie: and if we win we'll be official top strongest players. A few minutes they finally arrived lady 1: welcome to the game selection. He looks around Jamie:(there's a lot of people here. Guessing they also want to participate as well.) he sees a blonde hair girl looking like cha ha in from Solo leveling and sees a brown hair guy named Rui with green eyes and a purple haired ponytail girl with muscles and with yellow eyes named jinah and Little kid named Alex next to her and a guy hiding himself with a hood Jamie:(everyone is so serious. Guess this is a big deal. But that purple haired girl and that kid looks very familiar.) he notices the blonde hair girl is cold so he walks to her Jamie: here. Chloe:huh? Jamie: it's heating pads. Please take them. She takes them then walks away from him Jamie: you're welcome. lady 1:now you all may begin. Lady 2:those who survived 5 days and nights will be official top strongest players and will end up joining the assault team. Now you all may enter. They all run into the forest and spread out fast Jamie:quick now's our chance! He finds two monsters getting ready to attack as Jamie uses his sword to deflect their attacks then he kicks them against the trees Jamie:now! Joseph punches one of them in the gut hard then kills it by ripping out it's head then marry uses her wand and casts a powerful spell then kils it Jamie:come on! Let's go even further! They kill bigger and stronger monsters as Jamie is getting stronger than a giant monster steps in all fated up with arms everywhere Jamie:(what is this creature?) Joseph: I'll stop it! He's about to attack it but the monster punches him hard grabbing his arms squeezing them hard as he screams out loud marry: Joseph! Leave him alone! She cast a powerful spell creating a red energy blast but it takes no damage marry: what the? Jamie:(this thing is stronger than I thought.) he gets a Little freaked out but he regains his composure then he he pulls his sword and fights it but the big monster punches him hard blood coming out of his mouth as he falls on the ground Jaime:(it never felt that painful in other games. Wait we can feel pain? Damn it! We probably don't even have a pain absorber great!) he slowly stands up and grabs his sword 🗡️ blob: what's wrong? Can't catch you're breath? Just die and let me gobble you all up. He smiles Jamie: yeah no. He runs as blob creates thick vines hard for Jamie to Slashes them as he takes a lot of damage the vines stabs his body as he screams out loud blob:yes! Suffer! The vines absorbs his life his hp as he's losing life marry:oh no! She tries to use healing magic to heal him then blob grabs her too squeezing the life outta her as she feels pain Jamie: that's enough! He breaks free then grabs his sword 🗡️ Jamie:ok tough guy let's end this shall we? He smiles then yells out loud and fights him but blob ends up easily overpowering him and beating him up as Jamie gets back up then he uses every ounce of strength he has left as he starts Slashing though his thick vines blob:(how did he do that? No one could have done that. No one!) Jamie uses a new sword skill Jamie: sword skill sharp nail! He slashes his body rapidly as he levels up and his hp goes green again as level by sawanohiroyuki[nZk] tomorrow x tomorrow starts playing as he starts winning blob gets angry as he punches him under his Chin hard as he falls on the ground then he smiles then jumps in the air and Slashes his head making a circle ⭕ sword slicer move then onece he wins he yells Jamie: alright! Joseph:good job man! Marry:thank you for saving us. He smiles Jamie:aw it was nothing- out of nowhere a giant snake is behind Jamie as he slowly turns around the giant snake 🐍 uses it's jaw then bites his chest hard not letting go marry:stop it! The snake continues using it's jaw to bite his chest not letting then throws him against the trees filling his body with poison Joseph:hang in there bud! Then the snake is about to kill them a man steps in taking off his hood with long white hair and red eyes named Cane as he pulls his twin blades and stabs the snake and starts fighting the snake he slashes the snake rapidly none stop overpowering the monster as he starts winning he fights with no fear as cane pulls his twin blades and spins it around slashes it's neck then cane throws it like a spear stabbing it's brains off killing it as he collapses cane wins extra points and leveling up then offers his hand Cane:need help? Jamie gets back up after marry heals him Jamie touches his hand as he stands up Jamie:nice to meet you. Thank you for saving us. Cane:no problem. Just try not to be reckless. Jamie:yes sir! Cane:oh no no need to be so formal. Mind if I join you? Jamie: yeah sure. After they shake hands 🤝 they fight together as cane easily kills monsters coming behind him with only one punch ✊ shocking everyone then after a few days later they finally got out of the game selection Jamie:(oh no. Most of the people who were here are gone.) Chloe jiah and Alex and rui and a kid are the only survivors standing shocking Jamie cane:hey what's wrong? Jamie: it's nothing. I'm just surprised that so many people died. Cane:I know..... This isn't a game it's real life. And that's the cold truth. Jamie:heh speaking my language. Lady 1: congratulations to you all for clearing the game selection now you all are official players. If any boss threats happens we'll notify you All. Please take your new weapons. She shows them a table with swords ⚔️ as Jamie grabs one and Joseph grabs a new metal helmet mask and gauntlets then a few days later cane: it's an honor to fight with a fellow player. Jamie:I know. I couldn't thank you enough for saving us. Cane: oh come on now no need to be formal. You also did your part and I was impressed by your fighting style. He smiles Jamie:thank you. They sits down together Jamie:say what's your goal? Cane:Back then I had a Little sister who loved sea shells. she was dying. I was trying to get sea shells sea 🐚 for her then a guy beating me up saying hey that's my property. I hated that feeling. Then my sister died. Jamie: I'm really sorry. He stands up Cane:do you want to know what my goal is? I think we should live in a world without people with laws authoritys and taxes and politices we don't need any of that crap. The world we live in is nothing but living hell. My goal is to make sure no one clears the game so that the young can be the only ones that can rule with an iron fists. He walks closer cane: and no one is going to stop me.....so tell me are you in or out? Jamie is shocked by this and conflicted about this difficult decision.
