Felicity Grant looked innocent at this moment, "It couldn't be me either. Everyone knows I'm Wendy's best friend. When she fell just now, I got so flustered I thought it was my cousin who tripped her."
Felicity Grant was looking for excuses.
Wendy Lynch had stopped crying now. She glanced at Sylvia Flynn, then at Felicity Grant.
Sylvia, older than her, had no interaction with her, and thus no reason to trip her.
And Felicity Grant, being such a good friend with Wendy, had even less reason. Her anger at seeing Wendy fall was evident.
Felicity glanced at the dress she was wearing, a long evening gown.
"Wendy's dress today is quite long, could it be that she accidentally tripped?" Felicity asked Wendy with some doubt.
Wendy couldn't remember how she fell either. She had been in a rush and hadn't paid attention.
Hearing Felicity's suggestion, Wendy found it plausible.
She was naturally prone to losing balance and falling, so Felicity's explanation seemed likely.
Wendy saw her mother still looking furious and tugged at her, "Mom, I fell on my own, no one tripped me."
Mrs. Lynch felt relieved knowing no one deliberately caused harm.
However, recalling Felicity's earlier words, her heart seized.
South Grant actually had those feelings for Chester!
And Chester still thought of him as a good friend!
Such a person was too dangerous!
She only had one son; how could she let someone lead him astray!
South Grant's delicate appearance made him look like either a pansy or a freak!
Mrs. Lynch's expression turned icy cold as she looked at South Grant, exuding an air of arrogance.
"Please leave, the Lynch Family doesn't welcome people like you!"
Mrs. Lynch's words were cold, devoid of any emotion.
Following her words, everyone's eyes turned to South Grant.
Felicity Grant's lips curled slightly.
No matter what the process was like, achieving the goal was what mattered.
She successfully made Mrs. Lynch dislike South Grant.
Now that Mrs. Lynch had driven him out of the Lynch Family, South Grant's reputation in this circle was ruined.
Word spreads fast; let's see who would invite him again!
Felicity thought bitterly, if not for his status as the Grant Family heir, she would have kicked him out of the Grant Family long ago!
Mrs. Lynch saw that South Grant remained unmoved, appearing relaxed while casually holding something resembling a USB drive.
His composed demeanor infuriated Mrs. Lynch even more.
Ignoring Chester Lynch's attempt to stop her, she called the security to evict him.
"Get this person out of here, and never let him into the Lynch Family again!"
"Who does Mrs. Lynch plan to evict?" A cool voice sounded from behind her.
This voice carried no emotion, as if it was naturally devoid of warmth.
Mrs. Lynch turned around to see Nathan Foster, her previously angry expression softening considerably, her voice dropping several tones as she spoke:
"This person, South Grant, the eldest grandson of the Grant Family; if not for some business connections with the Grant Family, our Lynch Family would never let someone like him in!"
"Oh?" Nathan Foster raised an eyebrow, "So, it's my fault then."
Mrs. Lynch was puzzled, "Nathan, what does this have to do with you?"
"Because, he's here because of me."
Nathan Foster said, turning his head to look at South Grant.
No one noticed the hidden emotions in his eyes.
