She kept asking me the little details she needed birthday, nickname, even what kind of background theme I'd want.
I answered them one by one, handing it all over like she was my personal secretary.
After a few minutes of focused typing and clicking, she leaned back with a proud smile.
"All done," she said, turning the screen toward me.
"Now… you better send me a friend request first. Got it?"
I looked at her, then casually turned my gaze around the room.
Everyone else was too busy with their games, yelling at each other or hammering their keyboards.
Everyone was focus on their screen
So I leaned in and gave her a quick peck on the lips.
Seolhyo froze, her eyes going wide. Her cheeks turned bright red almost instantly.
"Y-yah… what was that for?!" she whispered sharply, her voice cracking as she smacked my arm lightly with the back of her hand.
I leaned back, smirking slyly.
She covered her mouth with one hand, clearly trying and failing to hide her smile.
"You're crazy… what if someone sees?" she muttered, her ears turning pink.
Then she smacked my arm a couple of times."…don't think you can just do that whenever you want."
I laughed, letting her hit me, raising my hands slightly in surrender. "Alright, alright sorry, sorry."
Seolhyo quickly stood up trying to cool herself down.
She wandered a few steps, to check out what everyone else was doing.
Park Dong and Irina were still bickering loudly over their match, Jisung was mashing his keyboard like a maniac, and Daegyu was too focused on his screen to notice anything else.
Her eyes drifted to Suwon, who was calmly clicking away at some casual puzzle game instead of the games everyone else was caught up in.
Relieved to have a safe target, she leaned slightly toward him and asked,
"Hey, Suwon, you've got Cyworld, right? Send me a friend request."
Suwon looked up, blinking. "Oh, yeah. Sure."
Seolhyo sat back down, cheeks still faintly pink, and smacked my arm lightly.
"Have you sent the friend request yet?"
I tilted my head toward her, smirking."Of course."
Her brows knitted. "...What did you do this time?"
Instead of answering, I just laughed under my breath and leaned back in my chair, focusing on my own screen.
Suspicious, she turned to her monitor and refreshed her Cyworld page then froze.
Right under her profile, the status now read.
Relationship: My Girl – Seol Hyorim
Relationship: Your Boy – Yoon Seojin
The tiny pixel heart blinked beside it.
Her face went crimson instantly.
She slapped both hands over her mouth, muffling a squeak before glaring at me and smacking my arm.
"Y-you! This is so cheesy!"
But even as she complained, she clicked Accept, cheeks still glowing.
When she snuck a glance at me, I was casually sending Suwon a friend request like nothing happened.
A moment later, she leaned back in her chair and tugged lightly at my sleeve
I turned to her, eyebrow raised.
"So…" she whispered, "when are we going to tell the kids we're dating?"
I thought about it. "After karaoke. We'll tell them once everyone's in a good mood."
"Okay…" she muttered, nervously twisting the hem of her sleeve. "I don't even know why I'm nervous about this."
Her being shy was rare so rare that I couldn't help but smile.
I checked the room. Everyone seemed busy no one looking this way.
So I leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss to her lips.
She stiffened at the sudden contact, then melted slowly, eyes fluttering shut as she kissed me back, quiet and warm, like she'd been waiting for it the whole time.
But what I didn't notice was Jinkyung, who had just come back from the bathroom. She caught us instantly.
Her eyes widened, her cheeks flushed bright red, and her mouth hung open in shock, unsure if she had just seen something she wasn't supposed to.
After spending hours at the PC Bang and our next stop was the karaoke place.
Jinkyung suddenly grabbed Seolhyo's wrist.
"Follow me to the bathroom," she said firmly.
After spending hours at the PC Bang, our next stop was the karaoke place.
But just as we were about to head in, Jinkyung suddenly grabbed Seolhyo's wrist.
"Follow me to the bathroom," she said firmly.
Seolhyo blinked in confusion. "Huh? Why?"
Jinkyung turned to us. "You guys go ahead."
"Don't take too long," Irina called out.
"You're the only one who can actually sing, Jinkyung!"
We laughed and headed to one of the rooms, leaving the two girls behind.
Inside the bathroom, Jinkyung crossed her arms and leaned against the wall, her expression sharp and way too serious for a karaoke night.
"Don't you have something to tell me?"
Seolhyo tilted her head. "About what?"
Jinkyung narrowed her eyes, voice dropping. "When did you and Seojin start dating?"
The words hit like a stone tossed into still water, echoing in the cramped bathroom.
Seolhyo's eyes widened, a faint blush rising to her cheeks as she tried to gather her thoughts.
"D-dating? Me and him? Don't joke around like that."
"Really?" Jinkyung shot back, raising an eyebrow. "Then what was that earlier?"
Seolhyo stiffened. "…Earlier?"
"I saw you two kissing in the PC bang."
Jinkyung's arms folded tighter, though the tips of her ears were turning red. "So don't even try to play dumb."
Seolhyo's face flushed all the way down her neck.
She turned away, fingers fiddling with the hem of her sleeve.
After a long moment, she whispered,
"Fine...We started dating a few days ago."
A grin spread across Jinkyung's face instantly.
"So you two actually ended up together."
Seolhyo let out a small, shy smile. "…Yeah."
"So who confessed first? You? Or Seojin? We all know you like him, but we didn't know-"
"Jinkyung!" Seolhyo hissed, her ears bright red. "Stop asking! We'll tell everyone later anyway!"
Flustered, she hurried out of the bathroom.
Jinkyung followed right behind her, teasing nonstop, barely holding back her laughter.
When they got back, I noticed Jinkyung stealing glances at me, her lips tugged into a sly grin like she just found something big.
Confused, I turned to Seolhyo only to find her face red, her eyes darting between me and Jinkyung.
She quickly pulled out her phone, typing furiously before shoving it back onto the table.
My phone buzzed.
She found out, idiot. It's your fault you couldn't stop kissing me earlier. She saw us. Ughhh, I'm so embarrassed.
I looked up from the screen to see Seolhyo burying her face in her hands, her ears glowing red.
Meanwhile, Jinkyung was still smirking like a cat that just caught its prey.
I thumbed at my flip phone and sent Seolhyo a quick text.
"It's fine. We're going to tell them later anyway."
Across the table, she checked her phone… then lifted her head to glare at me
I tried not to laugh.
Meanwhile, the others were completely clueless.
Park Dong and Irina was scrolling through the song list like it was a life-or-death decision, Jisung was arguing with Suwon about who would sing first, and Daegyu was already warming up his voice.
