Charles Jenson gave a wry smile; like Summer Lowell, Vivian Sullivan was also no pushover.
These days, he had put in so much effort, yet his relationship with Vivian Sullivan remained stagnant.
The nurse doing rounds came out, and Charles called her over: "Is the Miss Lowell inside awake?"
The nurse nodded: "Yes, she's awake and talking with her friend now."
"She's awake, President Sinclair." Charles nudged Maxim Sinclair with his arm, "This is a good chance, hurry and go in!"
Maxim Sinclair took a deep breath, stepped forward, then found himself shut out.
Vivian Sullivan leaned halfway out, coldly glaring at Maxim Sinclair: "Summer is feeling very unwell right now and can't take any stress. If you don't want her to die, don't go in and disturb her."
"Vivian Sullivan! I've said it many times, the issue between President Sinclair and Miss Lowell is none of your business!"
