In the living room, Summer Lowell saw a few maids hiding behind a large potted plant in the yard, peering cautiously in the direction of the door.
She got up and walked to the floor-to-ceiling window, stopping an auntie who happened to be passing by: "What are they looking at?"
The one she stopped was Aunt Clara, who was helping in the kitchen, and she didn't know what was happening either. She wiped her wet hands on her apron and said with a grin, "I'll go check it out for you."
Not long after, Aunt Clara returned: "I asked around, Young Madam, it's the gentleman's younger siblings who have arrived."
Summer Lowell had never been comfortable with them calling her Young Madam, but she knew well that it was a command from Maxim Sinclair, and it wouldn't do to take her frustrations out on them.
But since it's Maxim Sinclair's brother and sister, why is the main door still shut, and no one has come in?
