No matter how slow she was, Summer Lowell should have understood by now that Maxim Sinclair seemed to know everything about her situation at Stellart.
Summer chuckled at herself, walked over to open the car door, and sat down with a numb expression.
Maxim glanced at her expression but didn't say anything. He instructed the driver in the front, "Let's go."
The driver, without asking where to, drove straight to Varden Villa.
Maxim was the first to get out of the car, walked around to Summer's side, took her hand, and led her toward the house.
Summer looked back and saw that the driver had handed her suitcase over to a maid.
The maid carried the suitcase straight into the house. By the time Summer went in, the maid who had been handling her suitcase was nowhere to be found.
