Night falls.
Summer Lowell opened the door to her room with her key card after working overtime. She powered up the electricity, and without even closing the door, she searched every corner of the room.
This had become her new habit.
Ever since Maxim Sinclair magically appeared here last time, the first thing she did upon returning from work was to check the entire room.
Thankfully, the room showed no signs of Maxim Sinclair's presence.
Only then did Summer Lowell let out a slight sigh of relief and turned back to close the door.
She held the door frame with one hand, took her bag off to close the door. But halfway through, she sensed resistance, and when she looked up, she was so startled that she quickly pushed the door out with her arm.
Maxim Sinclair, however, easily held the door in place: "Director Lowell, is this how unwelcome I am?"
"Yes, you're not welcome. Leave now," Summer Lowell replied with a cold face.
