Summer Lowell appeared embarrassed, quickly interrupted his words, "If you're here to humiliate me, I advise you to give up early on that idea."
Hearing what Summer said, Maxim Sinclair wasn't angry.
He placed another beer bottle on the small table, popped the cap off the one in his hand with a single hand, tilted his head, and took a swig: "Tch, this beer tastes a bit off. I'll have to emphasize at the next meeting that the purchasing department should replace the beers in the guest room fridges."
Summer glanced at the time on her wristwatch. It was nearly midnight. Switching hotels wasn't convenient, and going to a colleague's place wasn't feasible either.
