The head of the B City Branch showed no sign of sleepiness on his face.

This tone carried a tinge of resentment.
The implication seemed to be, calling me out of bed in the middle of the night for something like this?
"Nonsense!"
The boss said to Officer Hu, exasperated:
"If the patrol team could handle it, would I need to call you?!"
"I'm not just calling you, I've already contacted the SWAT team!"
"What?!" Hearing this, Officer Hu got excited!
The SWAT team has been alerted?
Doesn't that mean something big has happened?!
