Simon Forrester turned over again and held the sulky, puffy-faced pufferfish in his arms: "If my private territory were really that inviolable, would I have let you and the nurse move in?"
Pufferfish: "Who knows what crazy nerves of yours suddenly struck."
Simon Forrester: "I finally understand why you've been single for twenty-seven years since birth."
Pufferfish huffed: "Same to you. Speaking of lifelong singles, you're a five-year head start. You're the senior here!"
Simon Forrester: "So are we the leftover man and woman that no one wants, digesting each other internally?"
"You're the leftover man; I'm not the leftover woman! Plenty of people are after me..."
"Oh, really? Lined up from the start to the end of Regent Street, right?"
"Now you know!"
"My design studio is on Regent Street! You have good taste; you didn't go for those guys lining up but picked me, the guy watching from the upstairs window."
