The glittering red-light district was drowning in chaos—blood and fire everywhere.
The battle between demon slayers and demons had begun.
Strictly speaking, this was Tanjiro's team's very first real fight against an Upper Rank.
Back on the Mugen Train, when they faced the terror of Upper Rank Three, Akaza, they could only watch from the sidelines, powerless to interfere.
But this time was different.
Compared to Akaza, Upper Rank Six was weaker.
And with his sister Daki dragging him down, Gyutaro wasn't as untouchable as the other Upper Moons.
That meant Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke could actually make a difference.
No testing the waters, no holding back—the fight started at full throttle.
Sound Hashira Uzui Tengen took the lead, clashing head-on with the real threat: Gyutaro.
His body's resistance to poison let him endure the sickle's venom through sheer grit.
Not long after, Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu rushed in to join the fray.
Tanjiro stayed behind to help Uzui against Gyutaro, while Zenitsu and Inosuke launched Daki onto the rooftops, splitting the twin demons apart to take them down one at a time.
Steel rang against steel in a brutal, bloody clash.
The countless watchers across the worlds were dazzled, unable to look away for even a second, terrified of missing something.
Forget everything else—this battle unfolding on the light screen was nothing less than a feast for the eyes.
For the multitudes across the heavens, this was a once-in-a-lifetime spectacle.
The rooftop-shattering, city-leveling fight raged on.
And once again, Gyutaro showed the world why the Upper Moons were feared.
As the true Upper Rank Six, his strength was on a completely different level from his impostor sister, Daki.
Even the deadly wisteria poison—so lethal to Lower Moons—barely slowed him down.
The toxins dissolved almost instantly, and Gyutaro was already preparing another devastating Blood Demon Art.
Uzui reacted in time, dragging him away by sheer force.
Meanwhile, Tanjiro rushed to support Zenitsu and Inosuke, understanding Uzui's intent.
The three of them fought with everything they had—finally managing to sever Daki's head.
Only Gyutaro remained.
But…
Before anyone could celebrate, the next scene left the cheering crowds frozen in silence.
Uzui Tengen had been defeated in his one-on-one with Gyutaro.
One arm severed, his body ravaged by poison—his heartbeat stopped.
With no one left to hold him back, Gyutaro became a wolf let loose in a flock of sheep.
He pierced Inosuke's chest with his sickle as the boar-headed slayer tried to carry Daki's head away.
Half-conscious Zenitsu was buried under rubble, his fate unknown.
And in the end, only Tanjiro was left—mocked and tortured by the demon.
"Ahhh! No! He can't win!"
"So this is it after all… you need at least two Hashira to stand a chance against an Upper Moon!"
"Uzui's strong, sure, but dragging along three rookies against an Upper Rank was pushing it too far!"
"The Mugen Train tragedy is about to repeat itself… and this time the trio won't escape either!"
"Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke… they've already fought hard enough. They're heroes, no matter what happens!"
Across the worlds, people sighed in despair, shaking their heads.
"Don't tell me… there's really no hope left?"
In the Katekyo Hitman Reborn world, Tsuna whispered under his breath.
"Come on, Tanjiro!"
In Hunter x Hunter's world, Gon pumped his fist and shouted.
"Don't lose to that demon, Tanjiro!"
From Fairy Tail, Natsu bellowed fire into the sky, desperate to jump in himself.
"Stand up!"
"Believe in yourself—you don't lose!"
"You've already overcome so much suffering!"
"This won't be the end for you!"
Luffy, Naruto, Ichigo, Inuyasha—all the hot-blooded shōnen heroes across the worlds silently cheered him on.
And as if answering their cries, Tanjiro, beaten and broken, dragged himself to his feet once more.
He smashed his trademark "Rocket Headbutt" right into Gyutaro's skull, stunning him.
Then he drove a poisoned kunai tipped with wisteria deep into Gyutaro's thigh, knocking him off balance and igniting the Demon Slayers' counterattack.
Cheers erupted from every world.
Uzui Tengen, thought to be dead, rejoined the battle—unleashing his ultimate skill, Musical Score, to suppress Gyutaro for a time.
But the poison had ravaged him. He no longer had the strength to decapitate the demon.
Still, he fought with everything he had left, clinging to Gyutaro even as his left eye was destroyed, even as the sickle pierced his body—refusing to back down, creating an opening for Tanjiro.
And Tanjiro did not waste it.
At the brink of death, he awakened his Demon Slayer Mark.
Even as Gyutaro's blade pierced through his jaw, Tanjiro forced his Nichirin blade deeper and deeper into the demon's neck.
At the same time, across the battlefield, Zenitsu and Inosuke clawed their way to their feet, pushing through their grievous wounds.
Together, they sawed through Daki's neck, little by little.
And finally—
With the furious roar of the slayers' burning spirits—
Both siblings' heads were severed at once.
Upper Rank Six had fallen!
For the first time in centuries, the Demon Slayer Corps had slain an Upper Moon.
Led by Uzui Tengen, with Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Inosuke Hashibira, they shattered the cruel reality that had haunted the corps for generations—sounding the horn of humanity's counterattack!
