Wonder Woman was stealing things. Based on the careful surveillance, it was clear she didn't want others to know. Connors didn't remember this kind of plot from the comics, but that didn't prevent him from making inferences.

Looking at the flickering projection from Batman's gauntlet, "Wonder Woman" Diana looked just as the group of fat men from the "Ghostface Bar" had described. Her upper body was clad in armor with a metallic luster, and her lower body was a short skirt made of some kind of leather-like material. A pair of long, pale legs were dazzlingly curved, even on the holographic display.

Diana was clearly in disguise. As an Amazon, she didn't have many material needs and was unlikely to be keen on art collections, not like "Catwoman" Selina. Regarding the theft shown in the surveillance, Connors used his "Human Limit" intellect and quickly analyzed the truth of the matter, sharing his thoughts with "Batman" Wayne.

"Old—Batman," Connors said, "I need to use your computer. The one in the Batcave."

"Also, Catwoman, draw the thing that was stolen from you. The more detail, the better."

"Batman, that short sword of yours, do you remember exactly what it looked like? You need to draw it too."

Batman was silent for two seconds. "…I can. But don't you call yourself 'The Outsider'? Why are you suddenly interested in this matter?" He didn't understand why Connors, as "The Outsider," was suddenly calling the shots.

Connors couldn't say he was just rushing to the scene to eat melons. He organized his thoughts and said, "As 'The Outsider,' the least I can do is know where the 'game' is, right?"

"You're not planning to be 'outside' the game again, like you were in Seaside City, are you?" "Flash" Barry said it casually, but his words hit everyone's mind.

For a moment, everyone—except "Catwoman" Selina, who was looking around for paper and a pen—looked at Connors with burning eyes. The events in Seaside City had just passed, and they couldn't forget his series of operations: giving Batman the hint about the "grave," going to the Injustice Society to control their plan, leaving a ring in the Justice Society's box. Even when they followed his clues to the library, Connors was already there. Although he wore a Justice Society ring, he had remained motionless during the monster's attack, as if he had known all along that the JSA members would sacrifice themselves.

And when all the illusions disappeared, Connors still retained the ring. Batman was keenly aware that he had hinted "don't forget them" several times.

"Just think of me as a person who enjoys the show," Connors said perfunctorily.

"Maybe you have your reasons," "Superman" Clark said in an understanding tone. "But as long as you don't do anything harmful, I will treat you as a friend."

I don't have any 'reasons.' I really am just watching the show. Connors thought, dumbfounded that his actions were being so inexplicably misunderstood. I'm only interested in Wonder Woman so I can eat this melon and pave the way for creating the Justice League later.

In the Batcave.

Perhaps the time flow rate in Seaside City was different. Only one day had passed there, but in reality, three days had passed on Earth.

"The Flash" Barry had to return to his unit and explain his three-day absence to his boss to avoid being fired. "Superman" Clark was going to free Lois and Martha from the secret place he had hidden them and find a way to send the female reporter away. Fortunately, he had prepared a large amount of food in advance, so they weren't worried about eating or drinking. "Catwoman" Selina was going back to her collection warehouse to check for any other missing items and to draw what had been stolen.

In the Batcave at this time, "Green Lantern" Hal—who had no parents, no job, and no wife—stood next to "Batman" Wayne. At this point, the two men watched, wide-eyed, as Connors used the supercomputer in a clumsy manner.

Connors's current abilities were not computer-related, and the operating system used by Batman was completely proprietary. Looking at Connors's fumbling, foot-picking operation, Mr. Wayne, standing aside, couldn't help but sigh several times.

"Green Lantern" Hal still didn't know anything about Batman's or Connors's abilities. In addition, he couldn't understand the computer page, so he simply nudged Master Wayne with his elbow. "Friend, what are your abilities?"

Batman: "..."

Hal, seeing he was asking for trouble, simply looked left and right in the Batcave, curiously touching this and that.

The learning ability brought by "Human Limit" allowed Connors to quickly get the hang of Batman's computer. He began to consult the information. He first checked not "Wonder Woman," but New York.

There were only two pieces of news about super-beings: one was an eerie mass blackout in New York more than a month ago, and the other was that a private clinic had received a group of people in fancy dress more than three months ago. Other than that, there was no information about battles, monsters, or superheroes.

Maybe they traveled through time like I did, so there are only a few super-beings here. Connors closed the New York page and turned to Batman. "Is your lost dagger drawn?"

"No," Mr. Wayne said confidently, handing over a photo. "I have a picture I took before."

Connors: "..."

He took the photo and looked at the short sword. It was ordinary, except for the hilt, which was a little weird. He didn't have the slightest clue for a moment. Maybe I can query the information based on the weird style of the hilt…

The keyboard snapped as Connors quickly inquired about something similar. The painting stolen from "Catwoman" Selina's museum collection and Batman's dagger seemed to be parts of a single broken object. At Wonder Woman's speed, she could have taken both items in one day, but it had happened on two different days. Connors checked the museum information and found that there was no stolen record yet, which meant Wonder Woman had not taken action today.

"Boss, I'm clocking out," Connors stood up. Since there was still time, there was no need for him to act hastily. He was going to find Zatanna, lest he be missing for a few days and the magician lady thought he had run away on their deal.

Batman: "..." Without saying a word, he looked at "Green Lantern" Hal, which was clearly an eviction order.

"Huh? After finding the information, shouldn't we go to the museum to squat immediately?" Hal asked, scratching his head.

"If it's just a thief, I'm not interested," Batman said. He was more interested in Connors's intention to query New York. He may have attributed the "no future" that Barry had seen to those people in fancy clothes.

"Well, that's what I said," Hal agreed, not very interested in stealing.

Riding on Black Smoke, Connors saw that among the group, only he was interested in Wonder Woman's affairs, and he didn't push them to go.

Zatanna and Shayna were sitting side-by-side in the cafe of the "Andrew Hotel." The two women had met because of the previous magic show and had gotten together again because of Connors's disappearance. They were talking in unison until Connors arrived.

Connors didn't know Zatanna's residence. His original intention was to come to the hotel and ask Shayna. After finding no one, he used "intermediate hypnosis" to ask a staff member and learned that Shayna was in the coffee shop. He had come to ask Shayna about Zatanna's residence, since Shayna had invited her to the previous magic show. But Zatanna was here too, which just saved him a lot of trouble.

So he sat opposite the two of them. "Long time no see. I'll help you find your father when I'm done with what I'm doing," he said to Zatanna, not forgetting his previous transaction to learn "reverse magic."

"I'm going with you this time too," Zatanna didn't ask what was going on and said directly. She was worried that Connors would not come back for many days, and her progress in finding her father would be delayed again and again.

"We can go one by one..." Connors's voice trailed off. He wasn't dissatisfied with Zatanna coming, but the elongated sound was mainly because Shayna, sitting opposite him, was stretching a pair of small, black-silk-wrapped feet from under the table. Push, press, rub—her dexterous soles worked their way up his leg.

He looked up. After being missing for a few days, the female singer's eyes looked like a calm lake being blown by a warm spring breeze.
