Jayden surveyed the bug nest all around him, "It's not going to be easy. According to Mr Williams, Assassin bugs have a social behaviour of staying apart with only the distance of their attack range; they're patient, accurate, and slow at chasing."
"Yeah, I know," Zoe cut in, "Not until Mana came in and gave them the ability to unsheath their short limbs into longer ones."
"Exactly, so the only way to take one of them without the others reacting is being twice their speed. How many kilometres per hour was it again?" Jayden raised an eyebrow.
"Eighty kilometres per hour."
"So, are you that fast?"
Zoe bit her lips, "Only fifteen kilometres faster in my beast form."
