Chapter 202 - Chapter 202: Skyfrost Nail

"You said Yu Jin entrusted you to deal with the solid ice in Dragonspine?" On the mountainside of Dragonspine, Yu Jin was conversing with Lumine beside him.

When Lumine spoke the name "Yu Jin," a refined and serene figure appeared in Yu Jin's mind.

Yu Jin, a renowned veteran of the Adventurers' Guild, had explored Dragonspine for many years. Her ability to explore Dragonspine for so long unharmed was a testament to her strength.

However, she also had a hidden identity: she was Cyrus's older sister!

Yu Jin was quite surprised when he learned this news. Cyrus looked like a middle-aged man in his forties, while Yu Jin at most appeared to be in her thirties.

If asked, Yu Jin would always dismiss Yu Jin with a mysterious, "I just take good care of myself."

Moreover, Yu Jin was not as serene as her appearance suggested. When Yu Jin first gave her a gift, she almost dented Yu Jin's breastplate.

In short, she was a very peculiar woman.

"Yes, I just solved one," Lumine nodded.

"And then that big white tree came back to life," Paimon said, shrugging his hands beside Lumine, looking speechless.

Why did their Adventures always have some special circumstances?!

"Haha, Yu Jin, it seems like that old commission again," Lisa chuckled softly, seeing Lumine and Paimon's speechless expressions.

Yu Jin had a good understanding of health preservation, so Lisa had spoken with Yu Jin a few times.

"An old commission? What happened?" Yu Jin recalled the list of commissions he had seen at Katheryne's. Yu Jin's name didn't seem to be there, did it?

And with Yu Jin's strength, running around Dragonspine alone, if she couldn't solve a problem, it would likely be difficult for anyone else.

"It's those few pieces of solid ice she discovered in Dragonspine before. Coincidentally, they blocked the path, so she wanted to break them."

"However, neither she nor anyone else could harm the solid ice in the slightest. Over time, Yu Jin became fixated on those few pieces of ice."

"She asks everyone she meets to try and break those damned pieces of ice. It's almost become her obsession."

Thinking of how Yu Jin, who had always been so successful, was stumped by a few ice cubes, Lisa couldn't help but laugh.

But those ice pieces were indeed solid; Lisa had tried them herself. Her Electro left no trace on them.

Because of this, Lisa even stayed in Dragonspine for a few days to thoroughly study these ice cubes.

The result was that, apart from discovering that these ice cubes were formed in ancient times, she found nothing else.

Since these ice cubes were truly just very hard, Lisa didn't bother with them anymore.

"But I didn't expect you, little darling, to be so amazing. You actually managed to break those ancient solid ice pieces. I underestimated you," Lisa looked at Lumine and Paimon, her tone uncharacteristically showing some surprise.

Even she had no good way to deal with those ice pieces, yet Lumine actually shattered one. She was truly not to be underestimated.

Lumine, hearing Lisa's praise, scratched her head a little shyly, "Hehe, actually, I'm not that amazing. I relied on those red stones in Dragonspine to shatter those solid ice pieces."

"Red stones?" Lisa was a little confused. What red stones? Were there any special mineral deposits in Dragonspine?

"This! This!" Just as Lisa was puzzled, Paimon's voice came from afar, and beneath the white snow at his feet, a hint of crimson was faintly visible.

"This is... scarlet quartz?" Albedo walked in front of Paimon, bent down, and wiped away the white snow. A piece of stone, crimson as blood and exuding an ominous aura, appeared before everyone.

"Heh, I didn't expect you to be special too," Albedo looked at Lumine. Now, there was one more thing he was curious about.

"Mhm, I should be able to purify the poison in this stone, leaving only pure heat," Lumine nodded, admitting that she was indeed special.

In fact, when Lumine first shattered the scarlet quartz, she realized that it bore some resemblance to Dvalin's poisoned blood.

Similarly, she could also purify the madness within the scarlet quartz, leaving only pure power.

"I see. It seems the power within this stone can counteract the power of the ancient solid ice," Lisa mused, looking up into the distance.

At this moment, their group was already nearing the summit. From here, they could see Mondstadt's endless green and slightly undulating hills.

But the most striking sight was the huge wreckage on the mountainside of Dragonspine—the corpse of the Dragon, Durin.

Its flesh and blood had long since vanished, and the remaining white bones seemed to have become part of Dragonspine. If the view wasn't wide enough, from up close, one might even mistake these white bones for protruding rock spikes of the mountains.

"The power of Sky and the earth, Dragonspine, oh, what a magical place," Lisa sighed softly, then continued towards the summit.

No matter what this land had experienced in the past, it was all in the past now. What was urgent now was to plant the Golden Tree.

The group followed the snow-covered path, passed the Statue of The Seven, entered a cave full of gravel, and were finally blocked by a thick wall.

"??? Who built this road!" Yu Jin touched the wall and realized it wasn't a wall at all, but the end of the cave.

Damn it, this path was a dead end!

Yu Jin had thought that since this path extended upwards, following it would lead directly to the summit, but he didn't expect it to end at a crucial moment!

"It's alright, we're almost at the summit. And, it has also given us a new path," Albedo reached out, and snowflakes drifted onto his hand.

He looked up, and dazzling white light streamed down from an opening above the cave, obscuring the view above.

That place above should be the summit of Dragonspine.

"Oh, it's quite high," Yu Jin also followed Albedo's gaze upwards. Countless blue and white ice crystals protruded from the cave's rock walls, as if the temperature above had suddenly dropped.

"Come on, come on, get ready!" Yu Jin said, then picked up Lumine and Paimon, one in each hand, by their waists.

"Hey, hey, hey! What are you doing?!"

"Wait a moment, senior, I can go up by myself!"

"Less talk, fly high for me!"

Yu Jin exerted force with both hands, directly throwing Lumine and Paimon, who were tucked at his waist, into the air.

"Thud!" The sound of something heavy landing came from above. Yu Jin heard it, clapped his hands, and said to Albedo and Lisa, who were constantly backing away in the distance: "See, I threw them quite accurately."

"Want to try?" Yu Jin rubbed his hands, speaking as if revealing his true intentions.

"No thanks."

"I'm not interested in flying."

Lisa and Albedo decisively shook their heads and refused.

"Hehe, refusal is useless," Yu Jin's voice suddenly sounded from behind them, and then Lisa and Albedo found themselves being picked up.

"Takeoff!" After a strange shout, Lisa and Albedo also experienced the feeling of flying like birds.

"Me, me, me!" Lanssangx saw everyone fly up, and immediately ran over impatiently.

"Me, me, me! Lanssangx, take me flying." Yu Jin also raised his hands, mimicking Lanssangx, and they ran towards each other.

"No way? Your Majesty, are you so biased towards strangers?"

"It's precisely because we have a good relationship that I'm asking you. I'm exhausted, hurry and take me flying."

Yu Jin said, then lay on the ground like a dead fish.

"Alright," Lanssangx said no more upon hearing this. Her dragon wings spread behind her, and she pulled Yu Jin into the air.

She looked like she was dragging a piece of cured meat.

The white light at the cave entrance grew brighter the higher they went. After a sudden burst of light, Yu Jin finally flew out of the cave.

Cold, extreme cold. This was Yu Jin's first sensation upon arriving at the summit of Dragonspine.

The winds at the summit were more violent than anywhere else. The strong winds whipped up the accumulated snow, shrouding the entire summit in a hazy white mist.

Within the white mist, a stone pillar shimmering with indigo light was particularly striking. The faint blue light was the same color as the background of the Sky.
