Chapter 68 - Chapter 68: The Great Sea Serpent

"What a giant octopus!" Yu Jin exclaimed in genuine admiration, looking at the scene before him.

This was his first time diving to the bottom of the sea, and he hadn't expected to see such a massive creature. Yu Jin wasn't sure if Osial was an octopus; he simply defined him as such after seeing Osial's several tentacle-like heads.

"Who are you calling an octopus!" Osial immediately bristled, though he had no fur. Instead, his body began to emit a dazzling blue light.

The blue light illuminated the entire deep sea, and Osial's body fully appeared before Yu Jin's eyes.

Osial had five heads, and his serpent-like, long and powerful body was hundreds of meters long. Pure blue flowed across him, making him seem like an elemental life form.

However, below the five heads, the blue receded, revealing Osial's deep blue skin. The five slender heads eventually converged, forming Osial's dragon-like lower body.

Yu Jin's eyes widened as he looked at Osial. He was too big; including his lower body, he must have been thousands of meters long.

"I was wrong. You should be a great sea serpent instead," Yu Jin said, looking at Osial and correcting his species.

"Morax was defeated by you?" Osial asked, looking at Yu Jin with a mix of surprise and uncertainty.

The aura of the fellow before him showed no leakage at all; he looked like an ordinary person. But the more he appeared this way, the more cautious Osial became.

Anyone who could penetrate Morax's seal was definitely no simple matter!

"The Geo Archon of Liyue? I've never even seen him," Yu Jin scratched his head. He seemed to recall his name from a book he had read.

"Hmm?" One of Osial's heads lowered, his dozens-of-meters-large serpent head only a few meters away from Yu Jin.

"What are you doing?" Yu Jin was pushed far back by the currents Osial stirred up, but he quickly swam back.

"Don't move around recklessly if you're big. You should say something before you move, otherwise, it's not good if you crush someone," Yu Jin said, looking at Osial. He felt that he had definitely never interacted with other people.

"Who are you? The Seven Archons shouldn't choose a fellow like you," Osial's head retracted again, causing Yu Jin to tumble once more.

"Uh... why would you think I'm one of the Seven Archons?" Yu Jin looked at Osial, feeling that the combined imagination of his five heads wasn't as big as his own.

Now it was Osial's turn to be unsettled. His five heads looked at each other, as if finding Yu Jin's answer incredibly hard to believe.

"Evil God? Doesn't look like it. Those escaped wastes are not even as good as me," Osial thought of another possibility but quickly dismissed it.

The Dark Sea indeed had many God-level existences. They either didn't want to participate in the Heavenly Principles' great escape, or they were born directly from the Dark Sea.

In short, their strength was definitely not as great as the Seven Archons.

If they crossed the line even a single step, they would be slaughtered by the Seven Archons and would never dare to come swaggering to the vicinity of the land like this.

"No? Is there something wrong with you? After being locked up for thousands of years, you still care about these things? You fought until you became a convict and you still want to fight?"

Yu Jin listened to Osial's murmuring and felt a wave of relief. See, this was the consequence of only locking people up without ideological education. The first thing he thought of when he met someone was to fight.

In comparison, he was still very good. Ideological education and physical punishment, both applied, ensured that everyone who came out was a talent.

"You want me not to care about these things? Easy for you to say! My people are calling for me! How can I be reconciled!" Osial seemed to be provoked by Yu Jin's words and became agitated all at once.

His five heads swayed, and his lower body trembled. The seawater within the jade shield seal was churned by him, and the immense power seemed capable of tearing everything apart.

The surging undercurrents impacted Yu Jin, but this time they could not move him an inch.

Looking at the agitated Osial, Yu Jin nodded to the Black Knives.

In an instant, Osial suddenly discovered that eleven extremely dangerous auras had suddenly appeared in the jade shield seal.

Eleven figures suddenly emerged from the sea, carrying daggers Burning with black flames in their hands, and instantly arrived beside Osial.

Ten Black Knives each corresponded to an eyeball, and one appeared at the connection point between Osial's front and rear demigod bodies.

The black flames on her dagger also burned the brightest, with huge black flames spreading for hundreds of meters, turning large amounts of seawater into steam.

Three, the most insane and combative of the Black Knives. The strike that took Godwyn's life was wielded by her.

But even now, if Yu Jin nodded, she would not hesitate to swing her blade and take Osial's life.

Yu Jin looked at their clean and decisive movements and nodded with emotion. Such strength was the capital that allowed them to assassinate Godwyn back then.

"Calmed down?"

"Calmed down." All five of Osial's heads nodded in unison. His heads kept retreating because the black flames in the Black Knives' hands posed too great a threat to him.

How could it not be great? The black flames of the rekindled Rune of Death were specifically for slaying Gods; whoever they struck would die.

"That's good." Yu Jin waved his hand, and the Black Knives vanished accordingly.

Osial watched with wide eyes as the eleven figures suddenly appeared and then suddenly disappeared, leaving no trace whatsoever.

He felt a little terrified.

"You said your people are calling for you?" Yu Jin asked curiously, looking at Osial. How strange, a God suppressed for thousands of years still had followers?

"Sh-should be," Osial said with a lack of confidence. He couldn't hear the outside world from inside the seal.

That shout just now was purely for the atmosphere; it would have been remiss not to yell a few times.

"What do you mean 'should be'?" Yu Jin felt that Osial was a bit unreliable, then she asked, "Of your former followers, how many can you call out now?"

Yu Jin's question directly stumped Osial. His five huge serpent heads stammered, and after a long while, he finally blurted out:

"Beisht! She must still be my follower!"

Osial's words were incredibly firm, no longer hesitant as before. It seemed that this 'Beisht' must be very important to Osial.

However, Yu Jin's point of concern was different from others. He doubted, "So you only remember one follower?"

"Of course! She's my wife, I definitely remember her!" Osial said as a matter of course.

"No wonder you're suppressed here," Yu Jin muttered, covering his face. To only remember the name of one follower, and that being his own wife...

Who would want to follow such a guy, no matter how you think about it!

"Bored? Want to see something interesting?" Yu Jin suddenly asked Osial mysteriously.

"You can let me out?" Osial felt exceptionally surprised upon hearing Yu Jin's words. With the strength of the fellow opposite him, he could definitely take him out!

"What are you thinking! Your ideological reform is not up to par; I can't let you out for now." Yu Jin looked at Osial with disdain. With his level of ideological awareness, the first thing he'd do upon getting out would definitely be to cause trouble!

So, he absolutely couldn't be released, at least not until some of his hostility had dissipated.

"Oh." Osial's five heads drooped. He also knew he was wishful thinking. But he quickly recovered, because being able to see the outside world was already beyond his expectations.

"That's right, but even if I can't let you out, I can make sure you're no longer bored in the future," Yu Jin said to Osial.

Just as Osial was puzzled, he saw a white shadow appear in Yu Jin's palm. The white shadow detached from Yu Jin's hand, gradually ascended, grew larger, and finally transformed into a flowing picture a hundred meters in size.

White Shadow Lure — wishing upon a weapon, forming a white shadow in front of oneself. A combat skill that attracts the attention of non-combat, human-form enemies and lures them to attack.

This was originally a combat skill used to lure enemies, but after Yu Jin's modification, it gained a new purpose.

Yu Jin looked at the scene on the white shadow, and he too became unsettled, exclaiming in surprise:

"I didn't expect you to be like this, Osial!"
