Sunday's room.
"Koji… we came into my brother's room without his permission. Is that really okay?" Robin whispered, but deep down she also felt a guilty little thrill.
She'd asked Koji to help investigate—because if it were only her, it would be hard to dig up anything useful. If they could find some core "family" information here, they could take it to Sunday afterward.
"It's fine. Big—" Koji almost blurted out "big brother-in-law," but caught himself just in time. "Sunday-nii-san is busy right now."
At this time, Sunday was extremely fixated on the Dream of Taiyi. He wanted to go in and handle the operation personally.
Robin heard him perfectly. She immediately guessed the word he'd swallowed, and three layers of blush drifted across her cheeks.
Thump-thump-thump—her heart started racing.
A lot of people admired her, but no one had ever dared to call Sunday "brother-in-law." At least not openly.
"Yeah… my brother really is busy… especially lately." Robin thought about it, still feeling something was odd. Even with the Charmony Festival coming up, it shouldn't be to this extent.
Koji chuckled to himself.
Your brother's busy with the Dream of Taiyi, because he's the man determined to make "seven days off per week" a reality.
If their opponents were ordinary working people, then honestly, Sunday-nii-san might actually succeed in the end.
Trying to sell "seven days off per week" to the Nameless might catch their attention at first… but once they processed it, they wouldn't care. They don't have jobs. If you really insisted on calling it "work," then their work is roaming around trailblazing. Setting aside the danger, it's basically tourism.
"Wait—when you say 'Sunday-nii-san,' you mean my brother?" Robin asked curiously. The nickname was kind of funny: "Sunday" could literally be called "Sunday."
"Yeah. Doesn't it roll off the tongue?"
Sunday even had another nickname: "Seven-Rest Bro." If that ever showed up in the world Koji came from before transmigrating, the sheer ability to rally people would be terrifying.
"Where do you think your brother keeps his files and records?" Koji asked.
"No idea. I don't usually come into his room."
Robin looked around, then fixed her gaze on a cabinet. It didn't look like a wardrobe—more like something used for storage.
Rattle-rattle—
The moment she pulled the door open, a whole avalanche of stuff spilled out like a mudslide.
"These…" Robin crouched down and picked up what had rolled out to examine it.
Merch. Records. Posters…
Everything was about her.
He even kept posters from her debut days.
Robin couldn't help laughing, but at the same time her chest warmed. Her brother really did care about her.
Some of this stuff… even she had almost forgotten it existed. And yet it was carefully kept here.
"Little Bird, look."
Robin didn't correct Koji's overly intimate nickname. She looked at the photo in his hand.
"Huh? That's… my brother?"
When she recognized the person in the photo, Robin went a little dazed.
The face was covered by a mask, but as Sunday's little sister, how could she not recognize him?
She didn't even remember which concert this was… and yet her brother had been there—
Was he… her true die-hard fan?!
And looking at this cabinet full of merch, there might be more—maybe far more—that she didn't even know about.
Still… seeing a photo of her brother in the crowd, swinging a glow stick with all his strength…
Robin felt mortified. Her flexible ear-feathers rose on their own and covered her eyes.
Seriously… her brother…
If she had known, it would've been whatever. But now an outsider like Koji knew—this was peak social death.
"I didn't know about this," Robin hurried to explain.
If she'd known, she would never have opened that cabinet.
It was basically opening Pandora's box.
"Your concerts—your brother's there for most of them, right?" Koji asked, holding back laughter.
Sunday could practically be called Robin's first true die-hard fan.
"My brother is my manager. Even though he's busy, every time I have a concert, he arranges everything." Robin nodded.
For her to become a superstar across the cosmos—her brother deserved a huge share of the credit.
"...Looks like there's nothing useful here. Sorry, but can you help me clean this up?" Robin stared at the merch scattered everywhere, getting a headache. She had zero doubt her brother had collected everything from her debut until now—and stored it all.
Koji nodded and helped her put everything back the way it was.
They searched around the rest of the room too, but Robin still couldn't find anything useful. So she left with Koji.
It looked exactly the way it had before they came—so even Sunday shouldn't be able to detect a trace.
"Thanks for coming with me to investigate. Your ability really is incredible." Robin was talking about Koji's space ability. Precisely because of that, things had gone so smoothly—and he could even open spatial passages.
"The power I use comes from a kind of blessing. It lets me use all sorts of abilities," Koji said bluntly.
"I've never heard of a power like that. It sounds amazing," Robin said after thinking it over. She'd never heard of anything like it across the cosmos.
Koji just smiled.
If you'd heard of it, that would be weird. The cosmos might have similar things—but there definitely wouldn't be anything exactly the same.
"Robin… what are you two doing?" Sunday walked over, looking at them. His handsome face held a complicated expression.
Since when did his little sister have such a close-looking relationship with a man?
Was he really supposed to just directly probe "Koji"—and his connection to the opposite sex—to see what was going on?
This didn't feel right.
It hadn't even been that long. How far had their relationship progressed already?
Sunday shook his head. He was genuinely afraid his little sister would be tricked by some blond scumbag.
"Big brother, you're not busy now?" Robin froze—then remembered that cabinet of merch, and her expression turned… meaningful.
But she didn't ask about it.
If she did, she'd expose that she'd been in his room.
Later, if she got the chance, she'd come in with Sunday present—and then "accidentally" open that cabinet right in front of him.
"Mm. Nothing urgent for the moment." Sunday smiled gently at Robin and nodded, then looked at Koji with a scrutinizing gaze. "You're Koji-san, right? I'm curious—what were you talking about with my sister?"
If Robin weren't here, Sunday would've already used the power of the Path to pry Koji's mouth open.
"Nothing much. We ran into each other and just chatted," Koji said with a shrug.
Chatted about what—dating?
If he said that out loud, Sunday would go full Dominicus and immediately launch into a grand "In the beginning…" sermon.
Besides, this meeting had been Robin calling him over in the first place—so there was nothing to feel guilty about.
Sunday thought for a moment. Even without using the Path's power, he could tell Koji wasn't lying.
"Big brother, what are you thinking?" Robin smiled softly.
"Can you tell me?"
Sunday's heart jumped.
That was… the "I'm not happy" smile.
