"Ughhh," groaned a black-haired man in annoyance.
"You know damn well we have duty right now—so where the hell are we going?"
A blue-haired woman rolled her eyes with an exaggerated sigh. "I never asked you to follow me, jackass," she retorted evenly, not even bothering to look back at her colleague. "And as to where we're going, I just felt like taking my own route."
Trailing behind the woman in sync with her own stride, the man took in a shaky breath. "Ayami, I HAVE to FOLLOW you, It's clearly written in the orders from staff—I'm your battle buddy." Narrowing his eyes, he continued, "So how about we stop dawdling around and head back to our instructed route?"
"I don't want to," she replied bluntly.
The black-haired man bit his tongue, holding himself back from venting a stream of venomous slurs.
'Think about it. Acting out on anger will only yield more anger. Remember what Dad said: you can never understand how or what a woman thinks.' He wanted to sigh, but he quickly decided against it.
Several minutes of idle silence passed as they trailed through a naturally formed path within the borders of the Mist-That-Stalks' territory.
The Mist-That-Stalks was a notorious legendary Seventh Destination beast in the past—a beast known for their sheer combat prowess. However, this legendary being had been hibernating thousands of miles deep beneath the earth for tens of thousands of years.
During its slumber, the creature unconsciously released its [World View] into the physical plane, thus creating the omnipresent cascade of fog that reigned tyrannical over the woodlands. Through the beasts Initial, the World View gained the ability of impediment—the Rule of Blinding, a restriction that all under the Seventh Destination were involuntarily forced to abide by.
It was a [Truth]: a practitioner's perception would be limited to what their realm deemed fitting.
This vast fog-shrouded woodland not only hindered perception but also nullified nearly all modes of communication—with the exception of mental transmission. The reason for this was due to the surrounding shell of chaotic electromagnetic wave lengths that in consequence to their existence muddle the flow of radio reliant devices, or really any other reliable forms of communication.
It was a place few dared to explore, a death sentence to venture too deep—simply because of the unknown.
There were powerful beasts that stalked idle for years at a time buried deep underground remaining uncannily dormant until its senses relayed any subtle vibrations stirred from the ground
Or the large packs of powerful beasts that roamed across though the fog, hunting any pray they might come across.
"C'mon, Ayami, stop being so stubborn." Alex muttered, frustration slipping though his tone "I'm not in the mood to die from some random beast," he complained.
Bump.
Colliding with Ayami's back, Alex stumbled, falling several steps backwards.
After a second, he regained his bearings.
"What the hell! why did you abruptly stop—?"
Alex's speech was cut short when a soft finger gently pressed against his lips.
"Hmm, I think we're far enough." She muttered her eyes gleaming with mischief, Ayami nipped the bottom of her lip eyeing Alex.
Flustered by the sudden action, Alex found his words stumbling on his tongue, almost incoherently he spoke "Wh-what… WAS that!?" he exclaimed bewildered.
Ayami chuckled after seeing his flustered state, "~C'mon don't feign ignorance you bastard." she murmured, grabbing his wrists.
Before he could pull away, she yanked back, flushing her body against his.
Nuzzling into his shoulder, Ayami exhaled a soft current of gale into his ear.
"Don't be shy Alex, I know you can feel it." she purred seductively.
Recovering from his stupor, Alex forced himself to stare into the distance in an effort to distract his mind from the close proximity of his colleague.
"I don't know what you mean Ayami, but I believe we should head back now." Alex began to push back from Ayami, though his efforts were half-hearted with no true force actually behind it.
Noticing this, she impishly grinned, pulling her head back.
"So do you want to continue you hardheaded sour spurt, or do you want to continue your guise of being stuck up?" She said, wagging her finger towards him.
Alex was given a difficult cross section, either a good time or the more reasonable and continuing with his duty.
He was put between rock and a hard place.
This was difficult, in their own unique way both options looked similarly enthralling.
Internally cursing, Alex pursed his lips and lifted his gaze to the utmost left as he thought.
"Ayami, you're driving a hard bargain." He exasperated. "What we get caught, not only would my evalve be tarnished this quarter, but my rank would be at risk." Alex reasoned.
Clicking her tongue she replied, "Yeah, and the same risk is also applicable for me, but do you see me whining about it?" Ayami narrowed her eyes "Look Alex if you don't want to, it's fine, I understand, but it's just…"
"It's hard to cope with these urges, the last time I've done it was a few decades ago, and my fingers along with dildos no longer provide me that same relief I need." she sighed.
"Don't bother denying it, we both know the truth, I'm fairly sure you're feeling the same way Alex, so I… Impulsively assumed you would give in after I made my advances." she lastly said now looking down.
Closing his eyes Alex spoke, "Don't guilt trip me Ayami I'm already on edge, but I see where you're coming from." he sighed "However do I have a question I want to ask you, one that's been nagging at me for several seconds?"
"Hit me." She said,
"Why now?" he paused, "Actually let me clarify that. Why did you want us to get frisky here of all places, you could have easily found another time or place, you know one less dangerous?"
She shrugged, "It felt stimulating, or exciting I guess, I don't really know? It was just the perfect time and place." Considering the question, she tilted her head sideways.
"But do you really not know why? I thought it would have been quite obvious." she murmured under her breath, loud enough so that he could hear.
"The fog's ability to block perception," he answered.
"Ding-ding-ding, you're correct." She mused mockingly, her expression returning playful.
"Now do you want a reward," Resting her hand on his chest, Ayami slowly trailed her hand down the course surface of the uniform. After some seconds of this she stopped at the waistline of the upper garment.
While she did this, Alex desperately attempted to hold himself back from indulging his desires, but as time passed this was becoming especially difficult when his lower region began to pulse and throb releasing a steady warmth though his body, edging his mussels and dulling his mind.
"~Ohhh,~" Ayami yelped eagerly, feeling his hardening erection against her pelvis, she wickedly began to grind against the new hardness in an attempt to feel that delicious friction against her cilt.
Licking her lips she met Alex's gaze, "So impatient, so ready to indulge." She teased, "I can see that you're still holding back." Absent-mindedly she traced her finger on his back.
"Release that beast for your own sake Alex."
Opening his eyes, Alex had made his decision.
"The hypocrisy is thick with this one." he said with a smirk "You're really good at making a man drop his guard."
"I try my best." She rejoiced with a small smile.
One of man's greatest weaknesses was a timeless classic, it was undeniably lust.
A powerful impulse that most men lacked the willpower to resist, and Alex was none the wiser than those poor fools.
"Make sure to channel your Will into your womb." He warned, his decision now evident.
It was pleasure.
Ayami rested her hands on her chest in mock offense from Alex's reminder, "Do you really think I lack foresight?" She joked.
Alex nodded, "Yes, I do," he said bluntly.
Rolling her eyes exaggeratedly, she slowly dropped onto her knees, propping herself in front of Alex.
Now faced with the maroon fabric of the crotch area, she took in a deep breath enjoying the musky scent before proceeding to gingerly undo the belt-buckle with her nimble fingers.
Clang…
Falling onto the ground the belt-buckle silently rang, in a single impatient motion the blue-haired woman pulled his pants to ankles.
During this, Alex passed his hand though her bed of silky aqua-blue hair and fidgeted with any of the loose strands.
"I'll make you feel good Alex." she huskily huffed, licking the thin fabric bordering his shaft and her tongue.
After several seconds of teasing his member, Ayami hastily dug her fingers into the fabric of the boxers pulling—
BANG!
Several tens of meters away from the two, a powerful torrent of air exploded forward destroying the ground and shattering a number of natural structures.
The air filtered with soil and the shrapnel of fallen trees.
Reacting in time, Alex channeled his Will into his wrist, summoning a large, black cybernetic shield that expanded outward covering both himself and Ayami from the violent storm of debris.
"Fuck, fuck, FUCK!" Alex panicked, quickly pulling his pants up.
Ayami likewise launched herself upward, landing onto her feet.
In the same fashion as Alex, several pink cubes materialized behind her.
Standing side by side, they both readied themselves—whether to flee or fight was unknown.
Extending their perception toward the heart of the storm, they were met with a bizarre sight.
There was a man?
He stood tall, with his back straight as a sword.
Excluded around his vicinity was a calm, regal aura—semblant to the surface of still water.
Tranquil,
When the two examined the man's appearance they quickly noticed the large ice-blue furry robe that draped over the entity of his upper body and falling down to his lower shins.
Even more, heavily contrasting his stark nomadic appearance, the man possessed a clean face not marred by the elements rather his skin was unblemished along with some moderately handsome features and striking orange hair.
He has some odd colored eyes, but they were nothing special.
The most unnerving part of the man's appearance was ironically not the rugged attire, but his expression.
He looked relieved.
He looked wary.
And, most unusual of all—he looked puzzled.
