"I can't wait," Zixuan whispered into Yuhan's ear, smiling.
Yuhan jolted in shock.
What is wrong with him? he thought. Why is he suddenly so giddy? He glanced at Zixuan, baffled and a little excited too.
They stepped out of the elevator, Zixuan immediately walking ahead while Yuhan trailed behind.
"Um… wait," Yuhan said, stopping. "Where are you going? I think there's a mix-up—you're standing in front of my apartment."
"No," Zixuan replied smoothly, a smirk tugging at his lips. "I'm exactly where I need and want to be."
"Don't tell me…" Zixuan added, feigning shock. "You forgot?"
"Forgot what, exactly?" Yuhan asked, still standing where he was.
"Just come here and open the door. Don't leave your injured CEO stranded outside."
Yuhan hissed under his breath but walked over anyway, unlocking the door and letting them in.
"We're inside now. Talk," Yuhan said the moment he dropped his bag.
"Come here," Zixuan said, patting the sofa for yuhan to sit like he owned the place.
