Zixuan's breath hitched as he spoke earlier, but Yuhan was far too tired and distressed to notice.
Yuhan switched on his laptop quickly. It took a full minute to come alive, which only made him more nervous. Four minutes left.
When he finally accessed the file, he had barely two minutes remaining. He had just opened the first page when Zixuan opened the office door.
"Let's go," he said sharply, without waiting.
Yuhan's stomach twisted into knots. He grabbed his laptop and followed behind him. As they walked out, the planning team near the CEO's office immediately stood to greet them. Yuhan, face glued to his laptop, had bent it backwards for easier reading as he walked.
At the meeting room, before the security could open the door, Zixuan had already reached it and pulled it open himself. Yuhan, oblivious, walked in first—forcing Zixuan to close the door behind him.
