In dining hall of Anning's apartment, during dinner.
Anning's mom's spoon was waiting in mid air, filled with vegetable soup. She was carefully listening to Anning about the trekking trip her college was holding.
She mhm- hmmed after hearing all the details like, only good students were allowed since perhaps some research work will be done too.
After a short while of silence, which almost seemed like an eternity, she said, " Okay, this is really a very good opportunity. But I can't say anything on this matter. Take your father's consent first. "
Anning looked at her father expectantly, who was just sitting opposite to her mother while listening to everything.
He once again asked her about the duration, food facilities and living conditions before saying, " Ok , but take care there. I have heard many accidents occurring on trekking trips. Besides, who else is going? You're not thinking to go alone, right? "

Baizhi again repeated her, "Are you okay?"
Sizi moved backward to straighten herself again and replied nonchalantly, " Of course. I'm fine. What would happen to me. "
She then chuckles and pats Baizhi's shoulder before going back to her seat. Baizhi finding it out of her habit, mumbles to herself, ' Are you sure?'
Anning just happens to come in the class at that time, as a result this scene had been seen.
