"Yeah," Adrian said behind Lucas, his voice calm, almost cold. "It's always Raya."
Lucas arched a brow, half-amused, half-curious. "Kealo is at it again, huh?" he muttered.
"Boss," Kaelo's voice called gently, breaking through the silence.
"You're in her room, and you said it's her fault?, Aren't you becoming stupid?" Lucas asked, voice teasing but edged with caution.
Adrian's gaze was sharp, assessing, almost surgical. "What's going on here?"
Of course, Kaelo was the first to speak. Her voice had that practiced edge of confidence, one honed from years of training under Adrian. "Boss, I am just trying..."
Adrian raised a hand, a single, calm gesture that shut her down instantly. Kaelo's mouth closed, and the air seemed to freeze around her. Silence fell, thick and tense, broken only by the faint rustle of fabric as Adrian's eyes shifted toward Raya.
