When the proclamation of war reverberated throughout the Dominion, the armed forces of Centory surged into motion. Three grand armies departed along three strategic star-lanes toward Proxima Centaury, the fulcrum of Earth's forward defense.
The First Army — The Spear of Conquest.

At 04:00, the three Centorian armadas unleashed simultaneous strikes under the grand design of Operation Solar Cantata — the Canticle of the Sun.
Within three hours, every Earth supply convoy en route to Proxima Centaury was obliterated, leaving the defenders isolated and without hope of relief.
The First Army of Aelyzabeth von Thors pounded planetary defenses in relentless barrages before deploying wave after wave of infantry, carving through Earth's strongholds with surgical precision.
Operation Supernova — The Shattering of Earth's Outer Bastions.
Meanwhile, Marshal Vito Vilozyver executed Operation Supernova, a lightning assault across the Kuiper frontier. Outposts on Pluto and more than 200 lesser installations were struck in rapid succession.
The unexpected ferocity of the attack caused the gravest damage Earth had yet suffered. Nearly half of its interstellar communication lines were severed in under three days.
15th June - Earth Strikes Back.
The World Republic launched Operation Silver Star, a full-scale counteroffensive against the Thailang–Centory sector. Massive fleets surged toward Earth's orbital perimeter.
Yet Marshal Vito adapted instantly, unleashing Operation Space Fox —a dance of radar deception and lightning maneuver.
He struck Earth's fleets from the rear, inflicting severe losses and forcing a chaotic retreat.
No allies could come to Earth's aid — the Second Army had severed every reinforcement route.
17 June - Earth Falters
Earth's fleets burned. Their reinforcement lines lay in ruin. Proxima Centaury's defense crumbled by the hour.
On the surface, the First Army launched its final offensive under Operation Solar Cantata, capturing every vital strongpoint in a single day.
In triumph, Aelyzabeth von Thors declared the planet renamed: Solar Singer — a symbol of Centory's absolute dominion.
With Proxima Centaury secured, she led her forces to reinforce Marshal Vito, preparing for the advance toward Earth itself.
Two Weeks of Relentless Advance.
Centory's armies pushed toward Mars Orbit, Earth's principal defensive barrier.But the campaign dragged on, and exhaustion gnawed at every regiment.
Then, the tide of fate shifted...
Aelyzabeth Falls Ill - The Turning of the War
In the midst of the decisive push, Aelyzabeth von Thors collapsed from sudden, severe illness. Command faltered. The front wavered.
The General Staff made a historic decision:
Sir Aerys Vilozyver, the young heir, was appointed Field Commander.
Aerys rallied 150,000 soldiers and launched a daring strike into Earth's rear reserves, annihilating critical reinforcements and tearing a vast breach in Earth's defensive lines.
Yet Centory itself began to strain —fuel dwindled, supplies ran thin, spare parts were scarce.
Industry had diverted resources toward economic revitalization, leaving the war machine weakened.
4th July, Space Era Years 106 — Ceasefire Talks Begin
With the Supreme Lord gravely ill and the armies worn thin, the General Staff authorized a ceasefire negotiation.
Centory held overwhelming advantage: Earth was battered, cut off, and gasping for reinforcements.
The summit was set upon Pluto, now a Centorian stronghold after Operation Supernova.
Thus began one of the most consequential military–political negotiations in the history of humankind.
