Grave did not keep them much longer.
After a brief silence had settled over the room, he said, "I think that is enough for a first meeting. You have much to think about, and so do I. Elenora will be in correspondence with me about what we have discussed. If you wish to meet again, come through Mord. If you want to meet Wren, do so in your own time. And if you decide you want nothing more from me, I will respect that. I ask only that you tell me plainly what you decide."
"I will come back," Bruce said. "I don't know when, but I will."
"That is good enough."
They rose, and Grave stood with them. He did not offer his hand. The Soul Realm had its own customs of farewell, and Grave used the small, formal bow Bruce had seen Caelen make and had gradually come to recognize as the customary gesture between equals in private conversation.
Bruce returned the bow. Kael and Theron followed suit.
