Chapter 65 - Chapter 65 – The Little Sun Attends the Tarot Club for the First Time

After that reckless stunt he pulled, Klein found his mind suddenly flooded with new knowledge.

He hurriedly materialized pen and paper in the gray fog and began writing down everything he saw:

What the hell are you looking at? (Pinned and bolded)

The Pure White Angel.

Spell for "Plucking the Sun's Feathers": Method for creating the "Solar Flare Talisman."

The Eternal Blazing Sun is extremely hostile toward the Lord of Storms and the God of Knowledge and Wisdom.

After some thought, Klein added a note beneath it:(The Eternal Blazing Sun wears his emotions on his face—you can tell who he hates at a glance.)

Chanter Potion Formula:Main ingredients: One Crystal Sunflower, or a tail feather of an adult Flint Bird, or a Fire Bird's tail feather…One piece of Siren Rock or a Singing Sunflower…

Auxiliary ingredients: One blade of Midsummer Grass, five drops of July Wine Juice, one Elf Dark leaf, 80 milliliters of Red Wine…

"Perfect to sell to the Sun," Klein thought. "Taken from the Sun, used for the Sun. Poetic."

Light Supplicant Potion Formula:Main ingredients: One Brilliance Rock, or powdered Dazzling Sun, Blood Of Mirror Hedgehog blood, or the heart of a Magma Titan…Auxiliary ingredients: One Golden Rimmed Sunflower, three drops of Aconite Juice, an item of sun worship, 100 milliliters of Red Wine…

Solar High Priest Potion Formula:Main ingredient: A red comb of a Dawn Rooster, 1 fruit of a Radiance Spirit Pact Tree.

Sequence 4 – Unshadowed Potion Formula:

Risk and opportunity coexist—the greater the waves, the pricier the fish. Try bolder experiments next time.

When Klein finished noting these nine entries, he couldn't help but tap the edge of the bronze table.

Coincidence—again, pure coincidence.

Just when a new member wanting to become "the Sun" joined the club, this formula showed up. His brows furrowed tightly.

"This isn't something I can tell the Nighthawks… I'll send a message to Sairuis later."

He rubbed his temples. Seeing that there were no further ripples in the gray fog, he finally relaxed—at least the Eternal BlazingSun hadn't traced this place.

Klein sighed. There was nothing he could do about that mess, so he decided to focus on something else.

He picked up the sheet in his hand, looked at the first sentence, pressed his lips together, and waved his hand—transforming it into a warning:

"Do not look directly at gods. Do not look directly at high-ranking existences. Remember this well."

"The hostility between the Eternal Blazing Sun and the Lord of Storms and the God of Wisdom… it's absurdly intense. But why?"

"And then there's this Pure White Angel… what the hell is that supposed to be?"

False Blasphemer: Amon.True Blasphemer: "Pure White Angel"—what the hell?...

The gray fog rolled twice—Klein left, and a day later, returned.

It was time for a new Tarot Meeting—and this would be Derrick's first.

Beforehand, Klein had pulled the Little Sun into the gray fog to explain the meeting's rules and etiquette.

He recalled the "synesthetic beacon" Sairuis had mentioned—wondering if the gray fog could achieve something similar.

To his surprise—it actually worked.

With precision timing, as the clock struck three, Klein brought the other three members into the gray fog.

"This is our new member. His title is the Sun," announced The Fool, seated serenely at the head of the bronze table.

Then Klein introduced Derrick to the others one by one.

Sairuis had already anticipated this.

Audrey felt genuine joy that the Tarot Club was growing stronger.

Only Alger frowned, dissatisfied that The Fool had brought in another newcomer.

"I've barely been favored as the Emperor's new concubine, and he's already bringing another into the harem. Truly, the new replaces the old… Sigh, if I'd known, I wouldn't have come today."

But Alger quickly corrected his attitude—this was a god, after all, and disrespect was unthinkable. He bowed his head, not daring to look at The Fool.

Audrey entered observer mode, quietly studying Derrick. Her conclusion: A lone wolf type.

Sairuis, on the other hand, opened his mouth as if to speak, then hesitated.

"What the hell is that?"

He saw, behind Derrick, a mask slowly materialize—

It winked its left eye at him, made a cheeky wink, then vanished.

["Boss, I missed you! After you left, everyone bullied me…"]["Listen, Sairuis—my boss is back, so from today on, I'm quitting beef!"]

Sairuis ignored the barking fool and instead focused on Derrick.

After the aura of Elation faded, he sensed faint traces of Preservation.

"So… the Amber King came too, huh?"

Interesting. Then maybe it was time to start explaining the concepts of Aeons and Paths. He glanced around the bronze table, excitement flickering in his eyes.

"I can't wait."

...

When it came time to submit diaries, Audrey handed over two pages of Roselle's journal.

Klein: Hehe.

"Miss Justice, what would you like in return?" asked The Fool calmly, as though the diary pages were of no consequence.

"As you know, I'm about to finish digesting the Spectator potion. I already have the formula for Telepathist, so… I'd like the potion for Psychologist."

Klein: Not hehe.

"Where the hell am I supposed to get a Psychologist's formula!?"

Audrey, oblivious to The Fool's subtle twitch, continued earnestly:

"I know these two pages might not match the value of the Telepathist formula. I can offer another page—and… also pay you some money."

Money?

Keyword detected.

"Sorry,Mr—she's offering quite a sum. Whether you have it or not, I'll have to rough you up a little."

But before Audrey could finish, she suddenly realized her mistake and cursed herself silently:

"Idiot! The Fool is at least near-godly—how could he care about mortal money?!"

She immediately corrected herself aloud:

"That's not what I meant! I can offer something else as compensation!"

[Congratulations! Your gold pounds turned into little birds and flew away~]

Then Derrick spoke:

"Psychologist? You mean PsychoAnalyst, right?"

"You know?" Audrey's eyes widened—he'd used the old term.

Because of her prior interactions with Sairuis, she instantly noticed that Derrick wasn't speaking Loenish.

"Is he in the same situation as Mr. Devil?" she wondered.

Hearing her question, Derrick—naive as ever—blurted out everything about himself before Klein could stop him.

"You're not citizens of Silver City? Which city-state are you from, then?"

Klein could only facepalm.

Author's Note:Waaaah, I'm guilty! I repent! I confess!

So many people in the comments said my book is unreadable if you haven't read Lord of the Mysteries or played Honkai: Star Rail. I ADMIT IT. I APOLOGIZE. But like—what the hell are you even doing here if you haven't? This novel isn't for you!

(Only talking about those few trolls on the homepage, not real readers.)

Some said I'm "riding the LotM hype." Others said it's "just fanfiction for fans." Well—no kidding! What is fanfiction if not fan work? You want me to write enemy-fanfiction instead?!

And someone said, "The author replying in the comments shows what kind of person he is." So I can't defend myself when you leave bad reviews? Should I just delete comments instead—would that make you happy?

Then others complain that the entry barrier's too high—that I don't explain the source material. Bro, if you don't know the source, why the hell are you reading the fanfic?

Sure, I could explain—but the moment I add source context, you'll say I'm padding the word count! If I really explained everything, it'd be walls of text!

Keep this crap up and I'll start setting comment restrictions, I swear.

I didn't want to delete comments or lock the section—but you banana-heads are really asking for it!
