Chapter 15 - Leaving Isha home.

"This one… no… no, this one. Sorry, sorry… it looks just like mine from above. This one is surely my home." Isha's voice was tinged with embarrassment, having led Sky astray twice before finally identifying her house.

Sky landed silently, entering Isha's room through the window. It was empty. He gently placed her on her bed.

"You're an idiot, can't even find your own house," Sky remarked, his voice calm, though a hint of amusement played in his eyes. He fought the urge to laugh at her naivety.

"I am sorry, my lord. I am really sorry. They all seem the same, that's why I got it wrong, plus it's the first time I've seen my house from above," Isha said in a low, embarrassed tone. Sky made a face.

"It's alright. But you don't need to call me like that; it feels so weird. I told you, I'm not God. I'm just a human who saved you. So call me normally." Sky cringed at her deferential tone.

"I will call you normally, but why don't you tell me your name?" she asked with a hopeful smile.

"No," Sky replied.

"Then what should I call you?" Isha pressed.

"You know what, call me whatever you want. Anyway, now go change your clothes and give me back my shirt so I can go. Come on, hurry up." Sky wasn't interested in further conversation; he just wanted his shirt back so he could leave.

"My lord, are you just going to sit there, like that?" Isha asked, a blush creeping up her cheeks.

"Hah… I guess that's a bathroom, so take your clothes from the closet and change in the bathroom and return my shirt. I'm not going anywhere. I don't want others to see me here with you. It would be troublesome for both of us," Sky said calmly, his mind already drifting to the ominous presence of the person with the negative aura.

"Huh…?" Isha's voice was soft, laced with pain. "That's not what I mean. I want to say I can't even walk, let alone take my clothes from the closet and go to the bathroom all alone and wear them. So I want to ask, my lord, can you help me change? I mean, I know I'm being rude to my lord, but my body is hurting quite much." She spoke with a sad, pleading tone. She didn't want to burden him further, but her body simply wouldn't cooperate.

"Huh…? Sigh…" Sky sighed, a flicker of resignation crossing his face. I guess I can help. He was used to helping his little sister get dressed, so it wouldn't be much trouble. He wouldn't have considered it if she weren't so severely injured, if he hadn't seen how much blood she'd lost.

"Thank you, my lord, for helping me." She said as he helped her put on her pants first. Then, as she removed Sky's shirt and put on her own, she spoke again.

"My lord…"

"Hmm…"

"I made you land in two different places. I'm really sorry for that."

"Hmm… it's okay…"

"But, my lord, have anyone seen us like that?"

"Well, don't worry, no one. I only landed in empty places," Sky replied. Isha sighed in relief.

"Thank God. No one had seen us. I would have really died of shame if anyone have seen me like that," Isha said, a genuine sense of relief in her voice.

What, die? After I saved you with so much effort, you would have just died because someone saw you in my arms? Hah… Sky thought, but he didn't voice his amusement. He simply watched her, then took his shirt, which she had removed. He put it back on.

"Okay, it's time to leave…"

"My lord, wait!"

"What now?"

"How can I contact you? What if that person attacks me again?" Isha asked, her voice laced with worry. Sky looked at her, his eyes turning cold.

"Then just die in his hands…" Sky said, turning towards the window.

"But at least give me your name, my lord!" she pleaded, stretching out an arm to stop him, but her body, still weakened, wouldn't allow her to follow.

"No need. You already know too much about me. I'm not going to reveal anything more, but listen to my words, girl. If anyone knows about me, then be prepared: I would be the one to kill you before that person." Sky's voice was chilling, his gaze piercing into her eyes. Isha shivered, looking down, muttering.

"You are cruel…" she whispered. Suddenly, the door to her room creaked open, jolting her. She looked at the door in alarm, then back to the window where Sky had been. He had vanished into thin air. She tried to call out to him, but no response came.

"My lord…" Still no response. He left…? But this will always be our secret, my lord. Isha thought, a faint smile on her face as someone else entered her room, shifting her focus completely.

Meanwhile, in the air, Sky flew back towards his home. He had been out for quite a long time; it was already lunchtime.

The real problem is that person has seen my face. I don't have a problem with that girl; I don't think she would tell anyone about me, and even if she did, it wouldn't be troublesome. But that person has powers, and he said he will return to meet him. Sky's thoughts raced.

I don't have any problem if he directly fought me, but what if he tried to attack my family behind my back, since he had seen my face already? I need to think of some plan fast. Sky thought, as he approached his house.

Later that night, Isha stood before her window, staring up at the moonlit sky.

You try to act cold and calm, but in reality, you are soft, too soft-hearted, my lord. I wonder, will I ever meet you again…? she thought, a wistful smile gracing her lips.

She didn't know why or how, but suddenly, the moon seemed to glow with an ethereal silver, more beautiful than she had ever remembered. Lost in its mesmerizing light, she had almost forgotten the morning's terrifying brush with death. The days, since then, had simply blurred into a soft, hazy dream.
