Haejin did not answer immediately.
He was leaning back in his chair, long legs stretched out in front of him, watching Doyun with the calm patience of someone who had known him long enough to recognize when a speech was coming.
Doyun's smirk widened.
Which meant the speech was definitely coming.
"At the meet and greet," Doyun said at last, folding his arms like a man about to announce a life philosophy. "Yes. I have decided."
"On what basis?" Haejin asked.
"Intention," Doyun said. "I am going to groom with intention tomorrow. There is a difference."
"You groom every day."
"Every day I groom to look good. Tomorrow I groom to win."
Haejin blinked once.
"Win what exactly?"
"The first look," Doyun said simply. "When the Gleams walk up to the table and they see both of us sitting there, they are going to look at me first."
Haejin looked at him for a moment.
"They look at you now," he said.
"They look at you more. You are the center."
"That is because I AM the center."
