Haejin needs a makeup touch-up.
The physical exertion has left him slightly flushed.
Hair messed up from the activity.
Light sheen of sweat that needs to be addressed.
Soorin approaches with her kit.
Heart beating faster than it should.
As she works on his face, trying to maintain professional distance, she speaks quietly.
"I didn't know you did Taekwondo."
"Nobody outside the company did. Until today."
He's watching her in the mirror.
"Does it change how you see me?"
She considers this carefully.
"Yes. But maybe not how you think."
"How then?"
She pauses, brush hovering near his cheek.
"My father trained me in Judo. From age ten until I my grown ass got used to it. I hated it at first. Wanted to quit constantly. But he wouldn't let me."
She meets his eyes in the mirror.
"Said he wanted me being able to know basic defense at least, but the training only grew."
Haejin's eyes widen slightly.
"You know Judo?"
