Outside in the hallway, Haejin makes it approximately ten feet before a door opens.
Doyun steps out.
Arms crossed. Expression unbearably smug.
"Don't," Haejin warns.
"I didn't say anything."
"You're thinking it very loudly."
Doyun grins. "Can't help what I think. Don't you prefer me finally making an appearance than those times I watch from afar as you fail miserably at sneaking out?"
He pauses for dramatic effect.
"Or do you want me teasing you tomorrow morning in front of everyone?"
Haejin's eyes widen. "You wouldn't."
"Try me."
"Doyun, I swear—"
"Relax. I'm just saying." Doyun leans against the doorframe. "Your stealth skills are tragic, by the way. I've seen toddlers sneak better."
Haejin runs a hand through his hair. Looking embarrassed.
Doyun's grin is absolutely evil. "So. Good visit?"
"We just talked this time!"
The panic in Haejin's voice is immediate.
Too immediate.
Doyun's eyebrows shoot up.
