"EXPELLED!!!??? But that's not fair!!!" Said Uraraka as she was startled alongside the other students "But we worked so hard to get here!" Said the invisible girl now named Toru Hagakure.
"Fair?" Said Aizawa as he showed a grim expression while pushing back his hair.
"There's no such thing as fairness if you wanna be a hero no villain will wait for you to beat them no disaster will wait for you to get ready to safe lives this isn't a sweet dream it's cruel reality brats so get ready" he says as his cheek starts moving up to form a eerie smile.
"So push beyond the limits like the school motto says PLUS ULTRA" he grins scaring the students though not all of them were affected.
"Besides fairness went out the window when the principal decided to put 21 students in each hero class rather then the original 20 so stop complaining"said Aizawa as he told them to follow him.
Amongst the students that was most affected was Aoko as to her this was rather extreme for the teacher to do towards the students though she figured out why he said it doesn't mean she had to like it next to her Midoriya too was affected.
As they walked towards their next physical test area he looked at his hand them his whole arm covered in small scars from all of the training he had done to reach here then he looked at his classmates and figured that someone wasn't going to make it and that didn't sit well with him either.
And now Aoko and a girl with frog quirks named Tsuyu Asui were going to compete in a 50m dash everyone was looking at how they were going to perform to see just how much they had to work to beat.
As the two were getting ready to Aoko suddenly started releasing blue flame like aura from her body and indication that she was using her quirk which surprised everyone but then they waited for Aizawa to begin.
"Bang" a blank shot fired to signify the start of the running trail.
"0.90 seconds"
"5.58 seconds"
"Huh???!!!"
Everyone was just flabbergasted by what they had just witnessed as slowly they registered what had happened.
"WHHHAAAATTTTT 0.90!!!!!!!!" Everyone screamed at just how obsurdly fast Aoko was who was now standing at the finishing line while her flaming aura flickered around her as if it was alive.
"So sensei how's that for plus ultra" asked Aoko as she looked at Aizawa with a smirk noticing this Aizawa replied with his own smirk"this kid"
But on everyone else's mind there was only one thing this girl was strong really strong and the only thing they could do was prepare and try hard really really hard if they wanted to stay in this class which had a monster like her here.
Next it was Bakugo and a boy with electricity quirk named Denki Kaminari and as soon as the race began it was over just as fast.
"1.2 seconds"
"7.1 seconds"
Kaminari who had just reached the finishing line just looked at the boy infront of him who had finished the race in just a second as said boy pushed his glasses back in place he looked back at him but showed no reaction and just walked away all kaminari could think at that time was 'Man there's more than 1 monster in our class'.
Next came midoriya and a boy with a shadow quirk named Fumikage Tokoyami who was having a short conversation with his quirk which apparently was sapient and finally the race began.
"5.9 seconds"
"6.7 seconds"
The result had actually surprised Aizawa as he learnt that the green kid Izuku Midoriya was in fact quirkless and yet he had reached the record for the fastest quirkless 50m dash it intrigued him as to who trained him but he could tell the boy had potential.
The first trail continued on with Ilda scoring 2.9 seconds with his engine quirk while Ashido scores 4.9 seconds by sliding on her acid and a girl with creation quirk who made roller skates scored 6.8 seconds with the rest of the students scoring relatively similar scores with a few exceptions.
The next test was grio strength with Aoko coming out on top with her completely shattering the measuring device with Mezo Shoji a boy with the quirk dupli arms giving him 3 pairs of extra arms which were webbed together the second place with 540kg with Rikido Sato coming at third with his sugar rush quirk at 460lg and Midoriya scoring 80.2kg along side kirishima who had 200kg.
The third trail standing long jump came with Aoko, Bakugo and a boy with half ice and half fire quirk Shoto Todoroki coming at the top as the first two just flew over the limit and the third just created ice beneath himself as it wasn't against the rules with midoriya scoring 3.71 m and Asui scoring 7.9m with her quirk.
The next was sustained sideways jump and suprisingly neither Aoko nor Bakugo scored highest it was a boy with the pop off that allows him to create sticky balls from his head that bounces against him but sticks to anything else hence a very specific situation where the quirk was excellent at the job similarly.
At the pitch Uraraka whose quirk was zero gravity scored a ridiculous infinity as it had went beyond the range of the measuring device which was over 20,000 m with Aoko scoring a massive 5059.11m as second place .
And now in the pitching spot was midoriya as he looked at the ball he then looked at the rest of classmates in his mind all he could think was the fact that amongst his classmates there were 2 students that hadn't had a time to shine or weren't able to compete with the others those being Toru Hagakure and Kyoka Jiro whose scores were lower then everyone else due to the nature of their quirks not being much helpful as well as not being very athletic especially Hagakure.
He had thought of lessening his capabilities inorder to somehow help them but then he thought that wouldn't help anyone and so he pondered on how he would help them if Aizawa really did expelled them.
"We don't have all day midoriya" said Aizawa as he glared at the boy to which midoriya just took his breath and got into a pitching position and as he was preparing.
"Come on you can do it midoriya!" Came a cheer from kirishima and Aoko as well as Ashido who knew that midoriya was quirkless and just how hard he worked to get here seeing this he couldn't help but smile and thus he threw his ball scoring an impressive 170m the longest throw without a quirk assistance on record.
As he midoriya who had thrown the ball looked at it and the at himself finally towards his classmates he finally thought of a solution as how he would be able to help them not get expelled he first approached Aoko he realised something and then asked her.
"Hey can I ask you a favour?"
"Hmmmn? Oh about time you finally approached me guess we got the same solution?"
"I believe so...can you help me?"
"Sure this whole expelled thing really didn't sit well with me anyway"
And with that the trails were over and thus Aizawa displayed the results on the screen with Aoko coming at an overall top score and thus as the students looked down the list they finally reached the bottom where at the 21st place was Toru Hagakure.
As she saw her name at the bottom she couldn't help but start crying as she kept looking at the screen and the at Aizawa who was now looking at her completely expressionless.
"As I said at the beginning the last place an unremarkable will be expelled and so Hagakure get moving "
"NOOOOOO!! NO NO WHY"
"If you can't even do anything remarkable or get my attention here now then what are you going to do later on at the field" he said coldly as she kept crying while he was just about to turn around.
"Sir we object your decision to expell her!!!!" said midoriya who came forward along side Aoko who had arrived to comfort Hagakure.
"Huh? Say that again?"asked Aizawa as he was looking at midoriya with a scowl but inside his mind he was intrigued.
"We reject your decision sir as that is completely unfair to her "
"Didn't you hear what I said at the beginning there is no fairness in real life if she can't do anything now then how will she handle it out there!"
"Yes you're right sir but isn't that the reason why this school exists so that they can help students grow strong enough to handle the real deal" this time it was Aoko.
"...."
"And frankly sir if you are so worried about the students not performing so well here now then why not just train them to do so why not see what they can do give her a second chance sir" asked calmly Bakugo.
"....."
"Sir come on give her a chance to prove herself!" Said kirishima.
"......."
"Sir seriously it isn't fair for her" said Ashido.
As they were talking with Aizawa Hagakure who was seeing them argue against their teacher for her not to get expelled she couldn't help but cry even further and as she was crying a new hand touched her shoulders it was uraraka who smiled at her and joined the rest .
And with uraraka slowly other students also joined in with Momo Yaoyorozu, kaminari, Jiro, Shoji and even Ilda who generally would never go against a teacher as that is a rule that must be followed but it was exception right now as his fellow student needed help and he was more then willing to provide it.
Aizawa who was seeing all of his students asking and requesting him to reverse his decision couldn't help but smile internally in his mind but before he made a decision he had one more trail for them.
"So if I were to give her a second chance ok then that's that and in the future if she were to really become a hero and in the process she failed then what will you save her once again" he asked which caused Hagakure to stop crying for a while.
"What if she makes a mistake?"
"Everyone makes mistakes sir"replied Aoko.
"What if she isn't ready?"
"Then we help make her ready"stated Bakugo firmly .
"And if she was in danger and you had to choose between her and civilians?"
"..." Everyone kept quiet.
"Can you safe everyone?"
"I can't save everyone sir but I know who can"said midoriya.
"Who?"
"Everyone"stated midoriya causing all of his classmates to look at him in surprise while his fellow gym members just smiled at him.
"Elaborate"
"I alone can't save everyone it's something that I was told by the man i admire but similarly he also told me that if I alone am not enough then I just need help "
"....go on"
"Because after all at the end of the day heroes are humans too and humans together can achieve everything even somthing like the impossible task of saving everyone"
Everyone who heard him say that couldn't help but be surprised and look at him with respect until Aoko came behind him and patted him.
"Well said midoriya so what do think sensei will you give her a second chance "she asked.
Aizawa who witnessed all of them band together to help their one classmate who they had only met today going as far as to go against their teacher and now he looked at them standing resolutely around the girl he was about to expel he couldn't help but smile which eventually turned to him clapping.
"Well done well done kid"
"??????"
"You managed to identify the most important rule that a hero should always keep in mind and yet so many out there tend to forget do you know what it is?"
"Heroes are never alone they should never be alone to begin with"
"Exactly just because you're a hero doesn't mean you can't ask for help and that's what you did you stood up alongside others to oppose me.
All of you remember this very well there will come a time where you will encounter a situation that no matter what you do you can't solve it alone at that time don't worry about pride or glory all you have to do then is just ask for help is that clear!!!!!!"
"Sir!!!!!!"
"Good there will be no expulsion today now get back to class!"
And so Aizawa walked away leaving the students stunt until finally they broke in cheers and hugged Hagakure injoy who in return hugged them back while crying tears of joy .
Unbeknown to them they were being watched by none other then All might who had witnessed the whole scene and all he could say was.
"Well done young students I'm proud of you"
Though two students had noticed him watching them being Bakugo with his mystic eyes of motion perception and Aoko who had quite a good experience of All might's character.
And so the first hurdle to becoming a hero was overcomed by all of them together.
