It had been three weeks since Aunt Sera left.
An entire week of that was Luis adjusting to surviving without her, he hadn't realized how much he relied on her until she left.
Additionally, it was getting harder and harder day by day to keep up with the baby rock golem antics, they never learned, and Luis never got a chance to rest, having to always make sure the baby rock golem was safe.
The worst part was setting up camp alone, as Luis would have to move camp to wherever the baby rock golem moved. Luis could not afford to change its direction or disturb the baby rock golem because it might take away its blessing since it had not been a month yet.
However, it was not all bad Luis had learned how to survive by himself just off fruits and fish, but Luis had other worries in his mind right now.
"This is finally getting easier"
Luis thought as he laid on his sleeping bag after the baby golem went to sleep.
"This last week should be the easiest, but if what Mira and Rico said is true whenever they got used to their training it would get harder, that means Aunt Sera might just make me suffer more."
Two days later Luis found out that his hypothesis was correct.
In the form of an adolescent rock golem a low-tier rank two creature. The Adolescent rock golem, it would form when ten baby rock golems all fall down on the same rock fusing with it.
This is a very very uncommon occurrence but a dangerous one.
The adolescent rock golems are four feet tall with hands and feet that support their body weight. Being made entirely out of stone they are hard to cut or break.
The biggest threat of encountering one is that they perceive anything or anyone near any baby rock golems as predators.
Luis had spotted the adolescent rock golem before it saw him but the only problem was that the baby rock golem Luis needed was right next to it. The Adolescent rock golems would destroy anything near baby rock golems but that's as far as their thinking could go. Their minds were not big to understand to help baby rock golems not fall on small pebbles and injure themselves.
The adolescent golems essentially would protect the baby rock golems from outside threats but they cannot protect the baby rock golems from inflicting self harm.
Taking a big sigh Luis spoke out loud just enough for the golem to not hear him.
"Aunt Sera I know you are the one who made it appear because you think the training is easy for me now, but I don't have any way of defeating it can you at least give me hints"
Luis did feel crazy talking out loud while no one was there and it didn't help that even after a few minutes he did not hear a response back.
Thinking inwardly
"Well I guess I'll have to deal with it myself. What would Aunt Sera say when I can't win a fight? Hmmmm oh right set traps, run, and negotiate if possible. I guess I can't negotiate, they are said to be low intelligence meaning communication is not possible. Wait are its legs injured he's not moving a lot. Maybe Aunt Sera isn't that bad after all. It's still walking though but slowly, maybe there's other stuff she did to help me."
Half an hour later
A slope thirty meters away from the adolescent golem. Luis had chosen this slope because of how hard it was to climb up it. The terrain was littered with uneven rocks, and there were big pieces of dislodged rocks on top of the hill that could be throw down.
"This is perfect"
Luis thought as he started at the adolescent golem with pebbles in his hand.
Luis had to be fast while he was busy finding out how to distract or defeat the adolescent golem. The baby golem had already fell in a ditch and got itself scratched up.
Luis started off by launching small pebbles at the golem he imbued them with aura but they only left scratches on the golem.
However, it did the job of distracting the golem as it came rushing towards Luis, it would tumble and fall because of the uneven terrain further damaging its legs. When it got close enough Luis mustered all the strength in his body while using aura and threw down the dislodged big rocks.
Rumbling sounds echoed and a dust cloud arose where the golem was
"Its…. Immobilized let's gooooo" Luis yelled loudly.
"Now let me test something else out, I wonder if I could have destroyed him with an aura punch" Luis thought as he slowly walked towards it.
Stood above it closing his eyes gathering all his aura in his fist, and swung with full force. Leaving a gaping hole in the golem.
Unable to contain his grin inwardly thinking
"It takes me about fifteen seconds to bring enough aura to my hand but I can destroy one with my fist. That was easier than I thought. There are only seven more days left let's go. Oh, wait fuc.. I forgot about the baby golem. Luis ran full speed towards the baby golem it was luckily only stuck in a dead bush and had not fallen over."
Luis also didn't know what shit meant but from the way the older kids used it, it seemed appropriate for the situation.
When arriving at the baby rock golem Luis was glad to notice that except some new scratches nothing worse had happened.
Luis thought the rest of the days would be easier but the numbers of the golems kept increasing every two days.
His new plan was to just grab the attention of all the golems and run until they got far enough away from the baby golem, which is when he would use the aura in his legs to quickly run out of the adolescent golems eye line. This was possible because Luis noticed that all the adolescent golems legs would be damaged so they would slower than him.
This would leave him more and more tired every day as on the twenty ninth day five adolescent golems appeared but luckily all of their legs were still injured.
Sadly the last day was different, Luis was a mess drained from running every day, which would exhaust him, and making sure he did not run in the same directions as other golems he led astray on other days.
This also limited his options, making it so on some days he had to run even further away.
Luckily during the times when he had to lure the other adolescent golems away the baby golem had not received too much damage, it looked as if it could still survive five falls
As Luis woke up on day thirty to face off against another five golems, to his surprise there were only three adolescent golems but unlike the rest, they were not injured.
Looking at the golems Luis noticed something grim. All the uneven terrain nearby was gone.
Furthermore the movement of the baby and the three adolescent golems were the same. They were heading in the same direction. The only problem was this was the same direction in which he had led three other adolescent golems a few days prior.
Luis had a minimum of thirty minutes before they would meet up.
The thing that scared Luis the most was not the golems but it was the thought that Aunt Sera might make him do it all again if the baby golem dies.
"That is a dumb plan but that might be my only chance." Luis thought
With what Luis had observed over the last few days the baby golems fell twice an hour and looking at how damaged his was Luis had two hours to make it back here on time.
Otherwise, it was gonna fall and kill itself.
"Okay I can do this there are about nine other adolescents surviving golems from the other days, with their legs being injured they are more clumsy, and when their were more grouped together they were causing more harm to each other than I was too then. I just need to hope that I can make the golems with working legs crash at high speed into the golems with injured feet"
