Chapter 30 - Chapter 29: Invasion on Vulpes Empire

Meanwhile, within the dominion of the Vulpes Empire, peace shattered in a heartbeat.

Without warning, rifts tore open across the starlit expanse of the Main Vulpes Galaxy, the heart of the hundred-galaxy empire. One after another, colossal shapes materialized from the void Golden Lion Empire motherships, each thousands of kilometers long, appearing like suns being born in silence.

Then came the roar.

An overwhelming wave of spatial distortion followed, as the Golden Lion Empire unleashed their most fearsome assault mechanism the Penetration Cannon Teleportation Array, a forbidden technology capable of punching through galactic barriers and instantaneously relocating fleets without the need for spatial nodes.

For the Vulpes, this was the impossible a direct breach into their sacred galactic core.

Within seconds, ten white dreadnoughts, each flanked by squadrons of golden warships, emerged in tight formation. Every dreadnought carried one hundred thousand Absolutes, warriors of divine rank clad in luminous armor. One million Paladins and Templars filled the darkness of space, forming a golden storm that spread like wildfire through the void.

From the great motherships, waves of Mech Titans descended legions of steel giants, ranging from assault types to fortress-class machines, their thrusters igniting like blue suns. The motherships began systematic bombardment, unleashing lances of plasma and compressed light that burned through planetary shields and shattered fortress worlds like glass.

It was not merely an invasion it was an annihilation.

The alarms of the Vulpes Empire wailed across all channels. In her celestial citadel, Empress Vulferia Vulpes, the radiant ruler of the foxkind, rose from her throne with fury burning in her nine golden tails. Her voice thundered across command frequencies:

"All fleets to arms! Mobilize the legions! I want those invaders turned to ash!"

Her most loyal commanders answered immediately.Grand Supreme General Uri Alu and Grand Supreme Admiral Jarul Valpes appeared on the main holo-feed, their faces grim.

"Your Majesty," Uri Alu said, his tone steel, "we'll deploy every active legion. The invaders will pay in blood."

Empress Vulferia nodded. "Then go. Show them what it means to challenge the fox of a thousand flames."

In mere minutes, thirteen legions under her command launched from across the empire led by Generals Rao, Valru, Vilfu, Zilo, Crumb, Skeiby, Rezz, Lukop, Poul, Pinac, Quainz, Yusz, and Muan.

Two additional legions Nuauz and Harui remained stationed in the Giant Civilization's frontlines, guarding the empire's rear. Still, more than 1.3 million Absolutes surged forward to meet the Golden Lion assault.

From the imperial sanctum, Eternal Guardian Foxfire Ninetail, the immortal protector and ancient founder of the Vulpes, watched the invasion unfold. His fury was boundless. With a wave of his hand, he unleashed the Hundred Thousand Absolutes of the Ninetail Clan, each warrior a blazing comet of spiritual flame.

Even the Three Watchers of the Empire Jules Rein Vulpes, Hiu Vulpes, and Furren Vulpes rushed home from their distant campaigns, alarmed by the unthinkable the heart of the empire had been breached.

But the response came too late.

By the time the legions formed their battle lines, the Golden Lion Empire had already destroyed three entire galaxies. In just a week, entire systems had gone silent their stars turned into hollow shells, their worlds reduced to drifting ash.

And then the Thirteen Legion Warships arrived.

Each was a fortress unto itself, a metallic adamantite dreadnought, black and silver, ten kilometers thick, bristling with void cannons and runic armor plates that could shrug off antimatter storms.

The Golden Lion fleet redirected their main cannons. Streams of golden plasma cascaded across the void, converging on the Vulpes line. Yet the blasts were absorbed swallowed whole by the foxes' Void Shields, an ancient defense system said to be woven from spatial folds.

For a moment, hope flickered in the hearts of the Vulpes.

But the Golden Lion fleet adapted instantly. Their cannons shifted into Concentration Mode, condensing the power of entire reactors into single lances of annihilation. The next volley cut through space like divine judgment.

One of the thirteen Vulpes warships took a direct hit. Its shields shattered like glass, the adamantite hull ruptured, molten metal spraying into the void. The explosion illuminated the galaxy and with it, the hearts of millions broke.

The Vulpes Motherships arrived at last five grand vessels, each over 40,000 kilometers long. To the empire, they were titans of war. Yet when they entered the battlefield, they looked small beside the Golden Lion fleet's superstructures. Two of the enemy's Small Motherships, half their number, equaled their size and easily outgunned them.

The Vulpes fired first. Thousands of cannons lit the darkness.Golden armor shimmered under the rain of energy and fire.

For a heartbeat, it seemed to work the first barrage slammed against the Golden Lion Super Motherships, flaring their shields like miniature suns. But the second barrage from the Golden Lions retaliated and the very fabric of reality screamed.

A Flagship Mothership of the Golden Lion Empire and one of their Super Large Motherships, each powered by ten thousand of Planetary Ena Cores, fired their Main Cannons simultaneously.

The first strike the Vulpes absorbed, barely. The second cracked their shields wide open. The third obliterated them.

The sheer difference in technology was insurmountable.

While the Vulpes relied on conventional Energy Cores and Magic Cores hybrids that could sustain long-term energy but lacked density the Golden Lion Empire's Ena Core Systems were beyond comprehension.

Each Ena Core was the product of three million years of refinement, compressed through spatial and energy fusion, and powered by research stretching back a billion years. Enhanced versions were capable of sustaining energy output far beyond any known limit. They never truly ran out only rebalanced.

In comparison, the Vulpes weapons struck like waves against an ocean, vanishing without trace.

Amid the chaos, one figure stood unmatched in the heart of battle Holy Celestial Lord Mikael Luminus of the Golden Lion Empire.

Clad in radiant Eternal Flame Armor, his presence alone turned the battlefield into a furnace. His aura blazed like a newborn sun, rippling through space with waves of incandescent fire.

Every swing of his Eternal Flame Sacred Sword cut through reality itself. Each arc of his blade erased hundreds of Absolutes in molten silence.

Vulpes soldiers who dared approach found their weapons melting before they could strike; their armor turned to liquid light, their souls extinguished in the same instant. Warships unlucky enough to drift near him simply melted hulls collapsing into streams of glowing slag as his sword's crescent wave passed through them.

To the Vulpes, he was not a man he was a god of war incarnate.

"Impossible…" whispered one of the generals aboard the 7th Legion's ship, watching from afar as Mikael tore through entire fleets. "How can one being do this much?"

No one could answer. Fear spread like wildfire through the ranks.

Only one dared to face him.

From the command ship of the Vulpes 1st Legion, Grand Supreme General Uri Alu descended into the battlefield.

His armor was forged from Frozen Eternite, a relic of the ancient fox forges, glowing with crystalline frost. His weapon the Cold Blade of Helvara, capable of freezing even light itself.

When he appeared, the temperature of the galaxy plummeted. Mikael's flames met his frost, and the universe itself seemed to crack under the collision.

Boom.

Their first clash sent shockwaves that shattered asteroids across the system. Fire met ice, heat met void and every collision was a birth of chaos. Mikael's burning aura roared, melting entire cruiser squadrons nearby, while Uri's frost spread outward, turning flames to crystal and vaporizing the molten metal before it reached him.

The two vanished in a flash then reappeared light-years away, their movements faster than perception. Space fractured wherever they struck. Each collision created miniature supernovas, each swing birthing rifts of molten frost and burning ice.

The soldiers of both empires could do nothing but watch gods had descended, and their war decided the fate of galaxies.

All around them, the war raged on.

The Vulpes fleet, brave but hopelessly outmatched, tried desperately to defend their homeworlds. Their army and Absolutes fought to the death, their nine-tailed banners burning in glory and despair.

But the Golden Lion Empire was relentless. Their fleets pressed forward in perfect formation, Mech Titans tearing through fortress lines, Paladins shining like stars in the void.

Everywhere the Golden Lion insignia appeared golden banners unfurling across conquered worlds.

And above it all, the duel between Mikael Luminus and Uri Alu continued to reshape reality itself. Flame and frost, light and darkness their battle raged on for eternity within moments.

For the first time in ten thousand years, the Vulpes Empire trembled.
