When Olivia woke up, her eyes were unfocused. Sunlight fell across her face, making her look even more pale.
She turned her head slightly and saw her mother keeping watch by her bedside.
"Mom…"
Hearing her voice, Susan immediately sprang up and rushed to the bed. "Olivia, you're awake! How do you feel? Are you uncomfortable anywhere? Tell Mom, I'll call the doctor right away."
She was about to leave when Olivia grabbed her wrist. "Mom… where's Sophia?"
"Why are you asking about her? She's the one who caused you to end up like this. Do you know how many people were at the wedding? In the end, the whole ceremony had to be canceled because of you."
Olivia's hand slowly fell back. She lowered her eyes and gave a self-mocking smile. "So I really didn't die… Mom… Ethan and I…"
"You don't need to worry. Be good and listen to us."
Olivia nodded, then noticed that Susan was wearing a mask. "Mom, why are you wearing a mask?"
