-Two hours later-
Ditching the fake S.T.A.R. lab van in Bakersfield. I then collected my striker unit and headed back to Arizona. Looking through the photos of the shrink ray and the prototype blueprint, I couldn't help but think that assembling my own working shrink ray might be beyond me.
In my old life Player and Ivy would design and create the majority of my gadgets. Those that they didn't create were stolen from V.I.L.E. I was mainly involved in the testing and maintenance of the gadgets.
Now I may have built my own striker unit, but that was because I had previous experience with maintaining the unit and was taught all about its components.
I never even seen a shrink ray in action... For now I'm just going to have to put it to the side.
The fight is another story. It was my first time fighting super villains in this universe. While ditching the van I decided to see if I could identify them. Using a computer at a library I discovered the identity of the two fake STAR technicians.
Captain Cold and Heat Wave, two members of the Flash's Rogue Gallery in Central City. They have a vast criminal record including several counts of armed robbery and burglary. Currently they were wanted for the attempted robbery of an armored car.
While I won the fight, there is a difference between fighting to escape and fighting to subdue. Also they severally underestimated me, if they truly knew what I could do they would have never fallen for that first stun ball.
While I was able to improvise with the shovel at the end of the fight, the next time I might not be so luck. I think it is time to expand my arsenal.

[While the gadgets you created, based off designs from your precious life, may serve you well now, it is time for an upgrade.]
[There are numerous companies and individuals in this world who could provided you with new tools, but who can you trust?]
[Why worry about making the wrong choice when you can go to another world and steal the best!]
[A world were the age of heroes has come to pass]
[A world where the mighty are hidden among common men and the wicked sharpen their knives]
[Prepare for your journey to the Incredibles Universe]

[In the Incredibles Universe heroes where once admired and celebrated. Their every action was witnessed by many who praised them for their heroics.]
[But as time passed complaints grew, and with every battle and every injury, more people began to question whether heroes where actually helping]
[Eventually all good things must come to an end and all heroes were order to retire or face consequences]
[Thus the age of heroes came to an end. Not with a bang, but a whisper.]

[It is now 1962 and the age of heroes is nothing more than a memory, a story told to the new generation.]
[All heroes are now living a civilian lifestyle, but several still have problems adjusting.]
[Your cover is that of a junior analyst of the Super Relocation Program, in charge of monitoring and aiding heroes to adjusting to civilian life. Although funding for the program has decreased over the years you are committed to your work.]
[So committed that you notice a pattern hidden among old files and dusty cabinets... the Program has lost track of several heroes over the years. While some are bound to fall through the cracks, each one had received multiple large payments before disappearing.]
[Knowing that your supervisor has no patience for conspiracies, you decide to investigate this yourself. And you found a clue...]
[The money comes from a company, whose headquarters is on Nomanisan Island, a volcanic island in the South Pacific Ocean. Strange... o well. Time to investigate.]
[System objective: Find answers about what happened to the missing superheroes and report back to the Program]
[Warning: time dilation exists between the two universe. One day in the Incredibles universe is 1 hour in your home universe.]
