Isadora walked in after the boom gate was lifted up.
"Thank you so much," she stood in front of Lyon, her eyes glimmering with genuine gratitude. "I took a taxi here. They wouldn't let it in so I had to pay the driver and he left."
"That's fine. I can bring you the Neravalle. But first, I need to know you're here for a genuine reason."
"I understand why you're skeptical. It's your job to be after all," she laughed cutely. "But I'm really here just to relay a very important message to Luciano."
He nodded once, and then lifted his head to the boys.
"Is the security check complete?"
"SìSignor. Scanning showed no sign of anything disturbing."
They spoke about security concerns over her like she wasn't present.
It made Isadora smile on the inside. Clearly, there were many things that hadn't changed about this place.
"Let's go in then."
Isadora followed him to the car.
Lyon opened the backdoor for her, and she slid in.
